105 James Canyon Highway, CloudcroftMy mom had been raving about the bbq at this restaurant for years. She's from Texas, so she knows good bbq. She warned me that the line for this place starts forming at 9am, even though it doesn't open until 11am. We got there at 9:15 and there were already 7 people in front of us. More and more people kept showing up. After eating here, I can see why people wait. It is worth the wait. We had a dinosaur 🦕 rib, 1/2 pound of brisket, 1/2 pound of turkey, one piece of cornbread (it's a huge piece) and macaroni and cheese. Everything we ate was delicious....best bbq in New Mexico. The brisket and rib were tender and melted in your mouth. The staff was very friendly, even coming out before they opened to let everyone in line know what items were available for the day. Going through the line, each employee was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely revisit and highly recommend.

505 Burro Ave, CloudcroftVisiting from LA and just coming from White Sands, we were taken by a relative to Cloudcroft and explore the little shops and the tea house was the first i went to. I have just recently transitioned from tea bags to loose leaf so imagine my delight when i came inside. The owner was truly knowledgeable and informative and i was briefly educated on the different teas i wanted to purchase. I brought 5 tea containers and she gladly informed me that that the shop have a 5+1 promo and i almost jumped to get my free tea container. Please don’t sit on this lovely shop 💙

1301 Burro Ave, CloudcroftPlace is classy modern mountain cabin interior. The servers are great & friendly. We ordered the Corey's Fav & Zita pizzas which were adequate for the four of us. We added a cup of soup & salad. The pizza had a thin crispy crust and flavorful. I complemented the pizza with their house brewed dark lager that was really good! Price was reasonable & low for a mountain resort. Parking was adequate.
