I made an appointment with Leslie to have my hair colored one week before my daughters wedding. She set up the day and time at her convenience. Her mother flew into the parking lot a little late explaining Leslie sent her to do my hair. A sweet woman who argued with me about the two colors I had been using the past 15 years. She stating she'd been coloring hair for 40 years and she would know best and she chose colors I told her would not take to my white hair. After she washed all the chemicals out and dried my hair there were no low lights and the main color didn't take at all. My hair looked exactly as it did two hours earlier. She apologized and suggested I come back before the wedding (7 days away) so she could try again at no charge.

Worst experience. I attempted to make an appointment with Maria for my birthday weekend. The morning of the appointment she called me saying she had an emergency and canceled. The following week I attempted to make an appointment with another hairstylist that works there and the same thing happened to days before my appointment she cancel saying that she’s going to have to leave town July 4 weekend. Very disappointing. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.Services: Haircut

If you book a hair appointment with Leslie, you MAY end up waiting up to 40 min after showing up on time (I have been coming here for a while and pretty much always have to wait past my appointment). However, you may not want to confront her nicely, asking for better communication next time, after PATIENTLY waiting the full 40 min. Instead of appreciating you waiting at all, she may get ANNOYED, defensive and expect YOU to be more understanding that things were out of her control. Apparently, another client showed up or something and she miscalculated how long it would take to do that client’s hair. She said that she was only trying to give her clients the best service, so she took her time. Yes, that’s great. Good for you for doing your job well. But just because you’re trying to give the best service, doesn’t mean you can expect the original client who you called in to wait 40 min without any good answers. A frustrated "it is what it is" apology does not suffice such a long wait. At no point while I waited could you have told me how much longer I’d have to wait so I was aware? If that's too much to ask, at least help me understand why it is. If it didn't occur to you to say anything, fine, just tell me that next time you will be more aware and inform me. That’s proper communication LIKE AN ADULT, but she hardly cared. That’s all I was asking for when I confronted her. I NEVER ONCE RAISED MY VOICE OR SHOWED ANGER. I simply expressed my frustrations, reasonably asking for better communication next time. If she truly respected my time, she would have at least welcomed my conversation with an understanding attitude and not a DISMISSIVE one, even if the delay was not her fault.Normally, I would have let this go. I have NEVER written a negative review in my life before. It was infuriating. Yes, she may be good at her job but just be careful what you tell her because she has anger issues and you don't know when she'll snap. The way she handled a client patiently waiting for 40 minutes under her roof was far from professional and quite frankly RIDICULOUS. She knows better than this.
