The Frontier Motel is an older, family-owned motel with an old school, nostalgic feel. The rooms are generally described as nice, clean, and comfortable, with cozy beds and fluffy towels. Some rooms have been renovated. Amenities typically include a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, TV with DirectTV, and WiFi, though the WiFi can be slow and erratic. The A/C is an evaporative cooler. There is no breakfast or ice available. The location is convenient, situated along the main highway with some expected road noise. It is next to a gas station and within walking distance of a restaurant and other town amenities along Main Street. However, the area raises safety concerns for some guests, with advice to be cautious, not walk alone, and not leave valuables in cars. While the rooms are sometimes small and the bathroom setups a little different, the water pressure and hot water are good. Some guests noted the rates can seem high for what is offered, but found it acceptable for a night's stay in Cuba. Overall, it provides a basic, quiet stop with a small-town feel.
Nice room. There was a fridge, TV, microwave and a COFFEE POT. Old school feel, quite, some road noise (to be expected). Great hot water, the shower set up is a little different, but the water pressure is good... we will stay again if we are in the area.

Room is nice and cozy for a solo traveler. Bathroom is on the smaller side with a standing shower. Nothing to write home about. Has a microwave and mini fridge in room. Is next to a busy street so traffic is heard. The bottom bed covering had multiple stains. Cost me $73/night, I was in room #6.

Quiet, older motel. Rooms small, but clean. Rates a little high for what you get. However, if you need a room in Cuba, NM, then is OK for the night. The WiFi is very slow and erratic.Rooms: Older rooms, but clean and comfortable.
