“This store is a diamond in the rough. I had family visiting from up North and the wanted specific style boots, belts etc.We looked EVERYWHERE in Las Cruces for what they wanted and even larger named stores such as Bootbarn n others. With the same answer over n over- " you won't find those anywhere, they are special order"..They didnt have what they wanted, plus we were looking for a plum purple & brown boot.. ( not very common) So we searched the small town of Deming where we found a small shop on the main road GOLD.JR's not only offers a beautiful selection of boots, but clothing, belts, hats and more. They even stretch boots and help with fittings. The owner and young lady who assisted us were so helpful and kind. Bringing different sizes, styles and even offering to order something if it wasnt in stock in the store. We had soo much fun talking with them during our visit. The customer service is beyond AWESOME and their appreciation for local business shows... AND GUESS WHAT-- THEY HAD THE PLUM PURPLE BOOTS one of our guests wanted. Even had several other colors & designs as well. So please look into the smaller family owned businesses, they are truly appreciative of your business and it shows.....
