Sierra Grande Rest Area is a decent stopover option for travelers, offering easy access for both northbound and southbound traffic. The restrooms are clean, and the scenic views of the mountains and prairies in the background make it a pleasant place to take a break. In the winter, the paths are well-shoveled, ensuring safe walking. Visitors appreciate the open area for a prayer break or a picnic, as well as the opportunity for their pets to stretch their legs. While the overall condition of the rest area may be a bit dilapidated, it remains a convenient and peaceful place to recharge and explore the area's interesting history and points of interest.

Use this location to test on my drive from wyoming to southern Texas and on the return home. The restrooms are clean and the lot is quiet. Although while traveling on march 19th the restrooms were closed
