My absolute favorite winery. I order a case each holiday season as gifts and friends and coworkers look forward to it. So delicious. And the owners are all delightful. And the tasting room is so relaxing with a beautiful setting. Ten stars all around!

Plenty of options of dry reds, they have handmade chocolates too. Great date spot.

Vivac Winery is the perfect stop for a wonderful handmade dark chocolate or a wonderful wine. Very knowledgeable staff, friendly, and an absolutely stunning view. A sophisticated selection of wines!Stop in for wine, chocolates, and cheeses and sit amongst the vineyard surrounded by mountains with wonderful splashes of color from hardwood trees.

I’ve wanted to stop by this place for awhile simply due to their branding. Logo and apparel is always super cool. The verdict is that the scenery is hard to beat, wine is ok, but the staff was unhelpful and unhappy.

An incredible venue surrounded on all sides by mountains. All 4 wines I tried in the wine tasting were excellent, but my favorite was the Montepulciano. A great stop right on the way to or from Taos.

A wonderful find in the Picuris area. Very nice patio area right next to the vines. We sampled several quite good wines and took home a few bottles.

Good. A fun time. Wines were on the plus side. I do think that their (limited) food options are too expensive. The chocolates were excellent. If you are on the road between Taos and Santa Fe, this place is worth visiting.

What a wonderful treat to have such a great winery so close to home! We love coming to Vivác and the location is perfect! The staff (especially the Sunday staff) is always so friendly and nice to be around! The wines are really decent and totally budget friendly! You can bring a picnic and sit on the patio or out among the vines. The patio is beautifully covered in lights and vines. I highly recommend giving Vivác a visit! Today I even tried the Black ant ? & mezcal truffle! such a beautiful little gem in the the canyon!

I love this winery. Been stopping by since 2008. Wines are consistently good, with many on the exceptional side.

The Vivac Winery is tucked away in the New Mexico mountains between Taos and Sante Fe. We had a fun stop over with excellent wines! If we lived in the area, we would be regular visitors.

What a great visit! Very yummy wine flight. AMAZING music performed that night, marimbas? I'm not sure what you call giant wooden xylophones?!? They had a taco truck, however it only took cash, sad I couldn't try it. Excited for my next trip 'up north' to try this place again!

I have to admit I was expecting something a bit better. Wine was good, ambiance and service lacked a bit. We were the only ones there and seemed like we had to pull teeth to get served (like we were interfering in his day) Very nice view.

This place and black mesa are the only 2 wineries worth visiting in the area. You can buy and make your cheeseboard and there are lots and lots of wines to try. Their wine is a good price range as well with the cheapest being $19 and yummy!Beautiful views and great staff. Yummy chocolates and cute wine gifts for sale.

We really enjoyed our visit. Well worth the highly scenic drive from Taos. You can create your own flight of wine for tasting only $12. I was actually impressed with the wines, all local, and the Vivac wines were actually impressive based on my expectations for wines from Texas and New Mexico. My party enjoyed the Rose, Tempranillo, and Divino. The winery setting is charming, nestled in the valley with some scenic cliffs and rock formations to view from the tasting room yard and patio. We also has some of their handmade chocolates with our wine, as they were delicious and paired wonderfully. I would rate 5 stars, but prefer a little more history, knowledge, and background with my wine tasting. While the server was very friendly, the wine was simply served without any of the above history, knowledge, or pairings to upsell some of the nice offerings this tasting room had to offer. Since we were the only customers at the time, I think these details would have been nice; in addition to table side service, instead of having to walk up to the counter. Later in our visit, the tasting room began to get more busy. We will certainly be back on our next visit to the area.
