Just spent over an hour trying to add a spouse to an account. New person didn't know how to do it, and had no support. Totally understand being new and she was very nice but there should be training or support in place. Wasted over an hour and finally left frustrated.

Wonderful credit union. They helped me withdraw out of state money from another credit union when my daughter needed to buy a new car after a terrible car accident. Now I’m a member living nearby and couldn’t be happier.

Shameful customer service telling people to come back later because they're short on help, refussing to open account for my son and I already have an account, taking a known amount of cash away from customer to another room to count out of site and come up short of my total after counting it twice myself before comming in, etc..etc. In the process of redirecting all direct deposits and going back to Sandia Area Federal Credit Union, never should have switched but SLFCU was more handy.

I have used SLFCU a long time. I do enjoy banking with them. However I do not enjoy investing with them.I originally wanted to invest in a secure CD. was told how that was a mistake and how inflation would out pace my CD. It is my fault that I listened to the financial advisor, he is a very nice person and seems smart and I understand we have un precedence market conditions. But, thousands of lost dollars using this service is unacceptable. A simple bank account would have saved me so much money.

I went into the Edgewood branch for the first time today as I usually bank at the Paseo branch or use mobile banking. Lots of safety measures in place, which I appreciate. And the teller was incredibly friendly and helpful. Stellar customer service!

I've had an account with SLFCU since the mid 1970s. A year ago I would had said I completely trusted them to do the right thing but not now. I opened a separate account for my infant/toddler daughter many years ago and at some point forgot about the account. When SLFCU revamped their online banking system in the last year this forgotten account was now displayed with all my other accounts. I looked through the account and saw they had been talking $5.00 a month out for lack of activity and it added up to quite a bit. I asked a branch manager why they didn't contact me rather than just keep taking this monthly fee. She said they had tried to contact me but since I had moved they had no way to contact me. I still had my original account with them and was actively using it but they couldn't figure out how to contact me. That's such a lame excuse and I know now that SLFCU has become just another big banking institution.

I am not actually a member of the credit union but what a convenience to have a credit union in the east mountain area. I appreciate the well lite ATM and the easy in and out of thee parking lot. It brings me in to serious thought of opening an account in my area.
