The pharmacist at the Edgewood NM location thinks she's better than a prescribing physician and refused to fill the rx! Talk about gross arrogance and negligent behavior! The FDA has approved antivirals for children under the age of 12! My daughter is 16 with numerous risk factors and needs the antiviral for COVID-19. Shame on Walgreens and shame on "her highness" Khara P!

I just found today that there is no guarantee that a pharmacist will be on duty from Thursday to Sunday. So this week better plan ahead since they won't put this on their website.

I like the pharmacy in Edgewood! I have found that the pharmacy is better than most other ones in Albuquerque.

I have two insurances that pay everything for me and I have had one for 10 years and the other for 8 years. Today I found out I keep getting charged full price for all prescriptions I get there. I know this because my wife works at a local clinic and always tells me the price before I go. I also had a representative on my headset from my primary insurance company while I was there and he told me the prices over the phone. An order that was $18 with one insurance, because they refuse to bill both, was supposedly over $100 to begin with. I am however going to keep going there because an employee was incredibly rude to me tonight and I will not give them the satisfaction of transferring my family's prescriptions.

Gave this location 1 star because 0 is not an option. The store manager is extremely rude, confrontational and arrogant. He has zero customer service skills and the emotional intelligence of a doorknob. There are a few helpful employees, but they are typically new, younger employees who haven't been influenced by the negative, cynical attitude of the longer-term employees and the manager. Although this Walgreens is the closest to my home, I am changing to a store where customers are treated with respect.

Walgreens Edgewood New Mexico Pharmacy Review - Rude, unprofessional and mean. I am a chronic pain patient and have been using this pharmacy for over 10 years, living only a mile or so away. Usually I don't think about their service, but last Friday was simply weird and my experience involved more than one employee. When I called in, in the morning, to see if my doctor had called in my prescription for pain meds, the person on the phone said yes, but the doctor had included a note that it could not be filled until Sunday (two more days). Turns out this was a lie, but I sent my doctor a note and asked her to please call the pharmacy and tell them I could pick it up that day. (She later said she was confused, as the note she had left with it had said to expedite the prescription, not delay it.) I stopped by at the drive up that evening on the way home from work to see if it was ready, and the person behind the glass started yelling at me that they could not fill it sooner as it was illegal. Telling me something is one thing, but screaming at me is unprofessional and unacceptable. My doctor and I traded messages, and while they had told me she'd delayed it, they told her I was trying to get them to fill it early. Bad week for pain. Can only get med refills once a month as I near running out. Was out this time and had to go without meds Friday PM through Sunday AM. These folks are so afraid of the State that they treat customers as addicts and criminals. Do not go here if you are a pain sufferer.

Walgreens Edgewood Pharmacy Awful customer service. Unfriendly on the phone. Unfriendly in person. They'll do anything to not do their jobs; give you wrong information so you have to do the work instead of them (while transferring prescriptions to their pharmacy). All around awful.

Never again the girls behind the counter sit and chat or giggle for several minutes before they even say hello or any kind of greeting Also, they have small kids behind the counter playing with medications on top of the girl handing me someone else's medications wow never again . I was there for almost an hour and watched at least 5 senior citizens leave with no medications because the women behind the counter " Amanda and another girl named Shawna or Sasha - refused to call their insurance and just let these people leave with no medication and not knowing what they needed to do what a shame ..
