Ok for a basic fitness club but VERY dirty. Seems no one goes into the locker rooms to clean. disgusting. I try not to look at the hairs on the floor etc. Lockers often broken. ik.

Looking forward to the indoor pool and was told they shut it down. Complete deal breaker and disappointment.

The worst gym I have ever been to. Everything is disgusting and smells like mildew, but the worst part is the staff. I have been a member of this gym for 5 months and every single staff member here is rude and nasty. Honestly a disgusting experience through and through. 0/ 10 do not recommend. Definitely worth the extra 10 min to drive to the Southside spa and tennis club.

Came in as a new client and was "greeted" by some woman who was staring into her monitor without moving her head in my direction asked what she can help with. Since I haven t been inside this gym before and already upon entering it made feel super unwelcome I went for one month membership, just to see how it goes. The counter woman swiped my card and gave me their electronic key, without a word or again even looking in my direction, I asked which way to go and she waved her hand in the direction. Ok well, after the month has ended I'm definitely not going back here. When you show up in a class this one trainer who happens to teach most of them(spin, and all others besides zumba), he also doesn't care about even asking if you've ever done this class before , only is looking at himself dancing in the mirror . Zumba classes were good, but the same teachers work in the other gym, so just for those I'd just go to the other gym on south side. Sauna is set on 160 degrees and isn t hot enough. Hot tub is gross and got too much chlorine in it.On my last day tried the pool only to be smashed into by an old man, who was swimming there without looking around for other swimmers, like in his own private pool.If I saw an honest review before buying a month, I'd just buy a day pass instead. So this is for those who are doubting if it's worth it, get a day pass and see for yourself. Save that money

Only place I use when I visit . The gymIs constantly evolving and the owner Carol is a straight shooter and it’s exactly what the gym needed. The manager Rachel and the rest of the staff are amazing as well . Highly recommend. The steel weights are just a lot heavier than us city commercial gym boys from Denver are used to lol.

Nice fitness center offering cardio, free weights, exercise stations, classes, hot tub, sauna, indoor/outdoor pools, and tennis/pickelball courts - very friendly atmosphere and employees.

Average small town gym. Saunas could be hotter, showers could be nicer...but hey the location is so convenient. Staff can be jerks, but so can most other service industry people in taos. They need to change the hot tub water more often it can get grosssss. Great hydromassage, and it's only $10 a month extra. About $54 a month. Full-time student discount which is nice.

Called ahead to ask about accommodations for olympic lifting, specifically about bumper plates and allowances on dropping weights. Was told that they are equipped as such. I showed up and they have one small area with a rubber mat, and one pair of 45# bumpers (not a complete set). Asked for a refund of my dues, front clerk couldn't help me. He then cursed me out as I was leaving. Misleading and rude. Do not go.

We visited Taos on a very rainy weekend. Our initial plan was to run Wheeler Peak. Obviously that was impossible due to the weather. We were looking for something fun and healthy activity. We found this gym on the internet and decided to try. When we walked in, it was not very impressive (to be honest), but we thought we could just have a nice workout.I took a peek to the group class room and someone made a sign, inviting me to go in. They were doing a spinning class, and We decided to join. Ultimately there was nothing to lose right? It ended up being a mixed cardio-HIIT-functional training kind of class with all sorts of exercises with great music. At the end we did some yoga poses, stretching and the best foam-rolling I ever had! Considering we are trail runners, this was an amazing way to spend an hour in rainy Taos.I highly recommend to take a class with him. He’s fun and provides great tips to work your muscles. I feel so happy! ?

It is a older place, needs updating in locker rooms rusty lockers, no place indoors to relax, have a refreshment except front tiny lobby sofa. Indoor pool area has very dim lighting, dark painted walls, needs white or yellow ti cheer it up.

Decent weight equipment, but not much to choose from in Taos. Good selection of free weights. Indoor pool is nice to have, the outdoor pool is surrounded by a lawn, great for laps. The locker room is like using a gas-station restroom, I wouldn't dare step into those showers. It's not clean and in pretty dire need of a remodel. The signs posted are tell-tale: "anyone caught trying to break into lockers will be kicked out of the gym".... Pretty low budget. I wish the membership was more expensive and it had a nice locker room. I also think because of the low membership fees, don't come at night--it's very crowded. There are no family memberships, not sure why. I will continue to go and stay away from the locker room and showers.

Used this place while snowboarding, yoga room is big, gym has a pleasant ghetto feel to it, the ceramic soap holders in the bath room were all broken and exposing edges, that was in every shower :-p overall a great place to workout, relax, or get cleaned up

The Owners need to spend more on cleaning services. the locker rooms smell so bad. floors are wet all the time. hot tub smells really bad at some points and dead flies in there. the gym gets cleaned once daily at night. besides that the gym is good but for how much they charge they need to clean the gym a lot better.
