I believe that one of the requirements of working at Safeway on the west side is to have ZERO personality and be as rude as possible to customers. I don't go there often, yet each time I go, the cashiers will not acknowledge me with a hello, even though I'm standing right in front of them. The only time they speak is to tell me how much the total is.
