I could be wrong and this might be normal for people, but who puts a bag of oranges, that are already in a bag, inside another bag, UNDER a 6pack of bottled soda????
I swear the future is very dim and simple.
I guess I should have gone to wm so I can do it myself.
I swear I feel nothing but pity on whoever raised someone to bag groceries like this

Decent selection of dry goods. They do have alcohol as well. The produce selection is not great.

One of the smaller Safeways, but everyone that works there is is very friendly and helpful every time I’m scratching my head trying to find out what I’m looking for. Has all the basics you could need, but the uptown Safeway has significantly more variety.

This place sucks the reason why I am asking because there's a some Native guy that works here, when I came into the store he thinks that someone was waiting outside for me to buy alcohol smh is the worst service ever. So I don't know that native guy name but wears glasses.

Usually this is the safe way I go to, since it’s closer to home. But idk anymore. I came here and bought 2 roasted whole chickens from the hot deli, and when I got home and opened them up both chickens still had feathers on the wings!!!! 🤢🤢🤮🤮 talk about losing an appetite and fast!!!

I rarely post negative comments about business and when I do it's to bring attention to discrimination or other injustices.
I'm native American, well mixed, in my case it only becomes obvious when I'm without makeup. When I arrived the main entrance door stopped working so I walked over to the exit door. Both doors did not open. It took a bagging personal to attempt opening it for it to work again. The doors are not my complaint.
When I finally entered, an African American manager in blue shouted at me that I had to check in my backpack to the service area. This day I just left the gym and forgot I had a small nylon string bag on my back with nothing in it. As a student I've entered this location several times with a backpack. As a person who prefers public transportation and am environmentally friendly, often I take a backpack to shop.
I've never entered without makeup until this day.
The discrimination became more apparent as I was checking out and saw several other women hold larger bags than what was on my back being spoken to with kindness and appreciation. This was not the case for me well checking out.
What I understood from this incident was that this location has issues with individuals that come off the street and when a person looks to have come off the streets, they are harsh and discriminate instantly and treat you as if you're a criminal. Imagine how I would have looked just leaving the gym in loose clothing and without makeup.
I will never shop here again even well looking like their preferred customer.
