Internet speeds are bad. They promise you better speeds with premium but you still get KBps of speed. Oh and they also double charge you without explanation. They double charged my grandma and we had two people try to fix it for us and nope they weren't able to. Now because of them we haven't had internet for two whole years. So if you want internet I don't suggest this company at all. Go with something better and more local like Sacred Wind or Red Bolt Broadband.

ZERO STARS NEEDS TO BE AN OPTION. We’ve been Centurylink customers for almost two months now and have yet to have even one positive experience. The landline installation got rescheduled seemingly without them knowing it, the only way I found out was after I waited all day for a tech to come out, tried to check status, and after several failed attempts at chat finally reached a live person, who had no idea what might have caused the appointment to be dropped. THEN I got a survey asking how my install experience was! And it took an additional 8 days to get a technician out to install a landline phone.Their online chat function is pathetic. Except for one time, I’ve been disconnected or the chat window failed to activate.This morning I’m trying to correct my caller ID, it still shows the name of the person who had our phone number before we got it. I waited 24 minutes on hold for a live person, only to have them hang up on me because they couldn’t hear me. I’m on my second phone call now, and have been on hold for 61 minutes, with no confidence whatsoever that my issue will be resolved.THE LEADERSHIP OF THIS COMPANY OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO ENDURE SUCH AN EXECRABLE LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCE. Unfortunately CenturyLink is the only landline option in my area. I’m completely disgusted. If you have any choice at all, please, do yourself a huge favor and AVOID THIS NIGHTMARE OF A COMPANY. Their horrible “customer service” system has literally wasted hours of my time. After writing all this, I’m still on hold… and I honestly think they’re hoping I’ll give up and end the call.UPDATE: After 73 minutes of holding, I was disconnected.For many, many more brutally honest reviews of this poor excuse of a phone company, visit trustpilot.com. I am not alone in my opinion. I tried to be understanding and remained polite the entire time. CenturyLink should be avoided at all costs, unless you’re unfortunate enough to live in an area where they are your only option. If that’s the case, be prepared for an unbelievably horrible experience.

Internet Speeds are not advertised properly. You have to call in to the company to receive “new promotion” I paid 115.00 for almost 3 years! After calling in to cancel services, all of a sudden they have new promotions to keep my business. Only to to find out xfinity does it for 53.00!!!! Check out Xfinity before getting services with centurylink.
