“We, Newt and I, have rested here in both directions on my round trips between home and the Arizona Renaissance Festival for several years now. A familiar stop along a long road.
Once noted in my records as a humble roadside outpost, it has remained reliably so.
The rooms have always been satisfactory in cleanliness, nothing excessive, nothing neglected. Exactly what is needed when the body is tired and the mind needs quiet.
Despite its proximity to Highway I40, the nights are consistently calm. Traffic fades. Sleep comes easily. That matters more than most things when traveling this route.
The current proprietors are friendly and accommodating, received not as staff but as something closer to long-lost friends; warm, unpretentious, and genuinely welcoming after many miles on the road.
For travelers passing through, returning again, or simply needing a quiet pause between destinations, this place has proven steady and dependable over time.”

“Room was clean. Bed was fresh. Shower turns hot and cold. Breakfast has a lot to be desired. How about some bagels or English muffins along with the sliced bread. Breakfast was a Breakfast sandwich, bread, waffle, cereal, juice and coffee. Staff was amazing on 12/21/25 at night. Young girl. Great attitude.

They also made an exception since I'm a professional animal transporter and let me have 4 dogs. Very enjoyable experience”
