This is a top notch hotel! The Colorado room is comfortable, quiet, and clean. The hosts provide so many little amenities such as a coffee machine and snacks; there was even cold bottled water in the fridge. Located about halfway between Tucson and Santa Fe, this is a logical place to spend the night and we are very glad we did.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We broke down and had to find a place to stay. The owner went way out of her way to help us. The place was very clean and quiet and very unique. It was one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed.

I went for a weekend stay and not reccomended at all. Very scary at night the room feels a really bad vibe also the room dosnt have control of the ac you have too tell the lady in charge and she doesn’t want too turn it on it was very hot Also the shower water comes out really slow and the restroom is extremely hot. There is rules gates close at 9 you cant enjoy a night time in hatch without worrying the gates will be close . We left a night before we had too leave because how scary it was we didnt want too stay another night . Not recommended!!

I loved the St. Francis! It is a very unique place. We just happened upon it and we’re very pleasantly surprised! It was built in 1860 and is very well preserved. The Church is great and very well taken care of. The only reason for missing a star is that in this day and age…I need an internet connection. It is well worth a visit or if you need quiet time.

Most amazing accommodations that we have experienced. Quiet, private, tastefully decorated room located in the historic rectory adjoining the St. Francis de Sales Church. The entire property is beautiful and charming.Noteworthy details: Our host, Celeste, was very nice and accommodating.

Went to Hatch NM to experience the chiles and found this awe-inspiring and special place. Listed as an Inn & Event Venue, it is certainly at least both of those. It would be an awesome place for an event designed to build a team. Depending on preferences, it can sleep 19 people in an environment dedicated to reflection and relationship building. Even for national events, it is only 87 miles from the airport in El Paso.Located in the entirety of a decommissioned Catholic church, it occupies an entire city block, walled securely from interruptions. It is a very elegant environment, with many amenities not typically found in a church. I slept in the former Rector’s room and people who saw pictures asked if it could have been that plush when it was a Rector’s bedroom. I even asked the priest of the new and modern Catholic Church about that and his only response was a grimace. The owners have invested heavily to retain the atmosphere of a church and to add considerable creature comforts. The Rectory has sleeping rooms, a dining area, sitting room, meeting room, foyer, kitchen, laundry and a magnificent outdoor grill. I would imagine that the owner uses the grill to roast magnificent Hatch Chiles, very abundant at the end of August and beginning of September. Wisely, one would not roast these chiles inside, because the air, walls, curtains, floors and people would be covered with the active ingredient of all chiles, Capsicum. Rub your eyes in the next few days after and you will greatly regret it. However, to miss experiencing these awesome chiles would be unforgiveable.Adding to the mystic and authenticity of the setting, rumor says that two of its former priests have been honored with burial under the altar. Also, it is said that a young orphan boy who died in the care of the church is buried in the courtyard of the church.Overall, this is a wondrous place to rest, relax and reflect. When I next have the opportunity to be in the El Paso area, I will definitely return to this place!

What an amazing place. Probably better suited to cooler weather, but still amazing. A little further from town than I was expecting, but it doesn't matter. We stayed in the casita. Awesome. We grilled steaks on the grill. This place is top notch and Nicollet loves what she does.
