I ordered a hamburger med-well, and I received it med-bloody. What really got me was that my bun had blood on it and it was soggy. We also ordered fajitas they were okay but really didn't have a flavor....so I sent my burger back for recooking came out the same one side cooked the other raw. Bummer so expensive! For the price and luxury environment you would expect better service and much better presentation. I ordered a cappuccino coffee 5$ wasn't full the waitress took it off the table before I finished it. I had three sips, it also was full of coffee crumbs at the bottom of the cup. So disappointing! It just wasn't a good experience. The restaurant is pricey and the food was dry. Most staff were respectful, however; there were two waitress who really made me uncomfortable. I was given a empty bottle of honey as well as a empty bottle of mayo. I felt this was so insensitive and disrespectful. They need to have sensitivity training. Think twice before eating there it's quite expensive and the food is dry tasteless!

What a wonderful gift to have out here in the middle of nowhere. The food was fabulous, the service was excellent, it's a gorgeous resort and fortunately, I live pretty close. Definitely worth a stay if you have the time.

When I went to make a cup of tea on my arrival, the cup I reached for was dirty and had a chip, along with a cracked plate. The electricity went out when I was having a massage. Thankfully the woman that gave me the massage helped me get back to my room. It was completely dark, no way to find my room and I didn't have a flashlight, phone or anything to help. I was also not able to order dinner because electricity was out. The electricity was out all night, regularly throughout the night attempting to come back on waking me up. A terrible night of sleep. When I went for breakfast was told no electricity so they are closed, even though the electricity was back on at this point. They told me to return at 10:30 to eat. I was told the pools would not be warm yet. I attempted to nap until the electricity going off and on woke me. At 10am on Saturday electricity went out again and I attempted to talk to the manager because I still hadn't eaten and was frustrated with the lack of communication to the guest. I felt bad for the employees because they did not receive direction as well. I did not feel safe the night prior as a solo female traveler. I inquired as to the business continuity plan and all the manager do was make excuses that the electricity was out of her control. I get that, but if I'm paying $400 a night, I expect the business should have a business continuity plan and a way to communicate and make guests feel safe. Nothing but excuses. The manager indicated there was food at the bar. I hope the restaurant/bar staff are acknowledged for being so kind during times of uncertainty. They were so kind and gave me a cup of soup and piece of bread. I attempted to make the best of the weekend and went out to soak. It was crowded and not quiet. It was noisy in every pool, including no talking pool. There were no employees anywhere to keep it quiet. There is no more room here for the rest of my stay and my dinner. I can't believe I spent $400 a night for that!

Our dinner was good. The salad was very fresh and the salmon very good. The ribs were good although the veggies were overcooked poked. (Unfortunately we had breakfast and it was horrible. Overcooked and cold scrambled eggs with terrible potatoes.)

Wait staff at the restaurant never smile and act like it's an inconvenience to wait on you! We saw a waiter spill cream on the floor and just smear it into the wood with his foot. Things were broken or not working in our room and I had the worst massage I have ever had. For a 2,000. Weekend it was disappointing.

We went to dinner during our stay to celebrate my wife's birthday. The short ribs, salmon and the prickly pear margaritas were all great! Our server Zach was great and the whole Ojo experience was outstanding!

My 3rd dinner of my stay at the resort. Also my least favorite. Everything seemed rushed, no blue corn muffins like previous nights. No one mentioned the soup of the day like previous nights. Was offered my check rather than a dessert menu. My other two dinners here were great though. Kind of felt like the B team was on this night.

Our dinner Wednesday night was superb! The trout was perfectly cooked, loved the pinon glaze. I ordered the mushroom soup, would love to know what caused it to be pink. Good flavor. Breakfast Thursday morning was excellent too. I always get my blue corn pinon pancakes. Great staff both meals.

The Artesian at Ojo is wonderful. Their wine bar is great too (different menu). Portions are huge, so we usually share an entree. Entrees are always presented with care. Staff is terrific

Food was average and we ate dinner there the three nights we stayed at the resort. We felt rushed by servers to eat and leave, so we were unable to enjoy a leisurely dining experience. We were not asked for refills of water, other beverages, or offered desert menus during our meals.

Solo diner, was seated at one of the 2 tops around the outside of the room. Perfect for someone dining alone. Had a very nice server. The meal was delicious, had the soup of the day and the salmon.

Food $$$ for the quality. Overspiced with no mild options, Small portion average quality. Had Buffalo Ribs and sauce so over powered the meat it could have been anything. Drinks did not get refied and when asked for options on the food the staff was no assistance when ordering.

been going to Ojo since I was a child I grew up in Carson. Me and my husband visited on Presidents' Day. I was disappointed with several things one the price was way higher than it has been in the past 45$ per person! The clay was not clay anymore at all it's brown water that doesn't stay on your body at all it used to be a pot full of real clay that was very purifying and great an experience I looked forward to this visit. Also seemed weird the staff were walking around with quiet signs yet they are going through construction and load jackhammers are running as you try to relax? contradiction. the changing rooms are a mess the men's was moldy and gross this time and the time before we came as well and were told they would get rid of the mold before. the women's several amenities were broken and dangerous. The shower handle was snapped off and sharp and didn't work the shampoo was also broken. They have updated some things that are nice like the lockers and the sauna. The new steam room walls were also dirty. but nice otherwise. The large outdoor poor was cold now it used to be heated always 89 degrees. Not this time. The large pool also smelled like fish? Thought that was odd. On a positive All the staff were nice and seemed to be busy helping guests with water and towels ect. the other springs were nice and warm. I hope that they can really up the game and fix the locker rooms mud station and large swimming pool or lower the cost.

My meal was delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful. The only glitch was that the salad was served with the entrees. The busser was quite concerned and offered to take the entrees back, but we accepted everything together. Our server came out right away to apologize and offer to make any changes we wanted. It was actually fine. At home we usually have our salad alongside, anyway.

We love to go to Ojo when we visit from Texas. However, on this trip when we had finished soaking and came out to our vehicle to leave we had 2 slashed tires. we were told that Texas vehicles are at risk for vandalism. we will never go back., which makes me really sad.
