I picked up a prescription by going through the drive through. Only because I just wasn't up to going inside. It seemed to take forever, but when I was leaving I noticed that the parking lot was full also. They can't help it when everyone wants to pick up their stuff at the same time. Prescription was correct, copay was reasonable, the clerk asked if I needed anyone to explain the medication, what more could I ask for.

Walgreens has finally lost me as a customer as this was the last straw! Went in to get kids' medicine but I seemed to choose the only Walgreen's medicine that was not part of the BOGO promotion. Employee said I couldn't do a return, because the system wouldn't update for 30 minutes. Traveling & don't have time to wait around. Ad is misleading, employees not helpful or knowledgeable, and a system that won't let you return something if it was just purchased are all reasons why this will be my last visit to Walgreens.

I have been the victim of a racist remark from a hispanic clerk at Walgreens who stated that the covid virus will kill everyone except WHITE PEOPLE! This is indignant and racist. I have been going here for many years and was shocked by the behavior of Marianne at the counter. I have known her for years now but evidently not that well considering that she made a racist remark to me that was appalling. We were talking about the insanity of the covid and the other states nearby lifting all the sanctions to protect people from it. Then she said that the governors were gonna kill everyone with covid.....except the white people. I am a White woman and she an Hispanic, but I never realized she had such transgressions until now. I was appalled by her comment especially considering that people in back of me were also Hispanic. It should not shock me but it is appalling that someone can be so openly racist and that she can say something like that to me. Covid kills white people. I told her that I am not immune to it just because I am white and she rambled on about trump. It is evident that she is just another uncultured new mexican who blames white people for their own cultural ignorance and racism. She had better keep her mouth shut because people from other states have been coming in to spread their hate and a racist comment about white people is just as bad as a racist comment about any race. What a shame Las Cruces people are so uncultured that they cannot even understand that they are so ignorant and racist themselves. Just because I am white it does NOT make me a bad person. I am not racist and do not deserve to be discriminated against. News flash, new mexicans, just because I am white does NOT mean I am for trump and white supremacy, in fact I am very much against it! I did not deserve that racist remark and Marianne as well as the others who hold this belief can live out their uneducated and unworldly lives blaming others for their ignorance and lack of ability to move forward in life. News flash, stop eating out and lowering your masks in public, stop eating indoors in restaurants and take responsibility for your actions. Dona ana county is in the red zone, and it is not merely white people who put it there, its the mexican population who goes to juarez and back over the border and spread the covid to the rest of us. This does not surprise me, but it is so pathetic. Good bye, walgreens on 2300 east lohman! Kiss my white a** motherfuckers! F*** you!!!!!!!! Worthless racist ignorant unworldly lowlives.

This Walgreens is conveniently located on busy Lohman Ave. It's like any of the standard Walgreens. I do like their photo area.

The staff in the pharmacy are very friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile, however, they only have ONE person servicing the inside counter and drive up window! Everytime I go to the drive up window, there are 4 or 5 cars waiting! They take care of one person at the drive thru and then run to the inside counter to help them. It is absurd! You end up waiting 20 minutes in line and then another 5 to 10 minutes at the window. I requested auto refill and txt messages to state my prescription is ready for pick up. The auto refill is hap hazard and the txts are non existent. I place this lack of of customer care in the hands of the store manager. They apparently are having a difficult time hiring. Given the word on the street, the manager and the store environment is negative. I'm currently searching for another pharmacy with better service. Again, the staff is great, the management, I believe is the problem.

My doctor sent over an emergency prescription for me while I was staying at the nearby Hampton Inn. We waited forever in the drive thru pharmacy line only to be told they were too busy to fill it and could we come back in an hour and a half. We went back to the hotel and then came back in the time requested. They again said they were too busy to fill it and asked us to come back. This time we said no and that I really needed my meds and refused to drive off without them. It was the pharmacist himself who "helped" us each time. We had our windows down during both of our waits and it appears each customer had a problem of some sort at the pharmacy window. Not quite sure what the deal is here. Hopefully they figure it out because this sure is a busy location and medication is not something to be messed with.
