I was in this store when la Tona accused my friend of stealing an item you have to get from the back she knew my friends family and bashed them I feel like she just didn’t like my friend this woman is incapable of running a store it’s sad then there was another employee yelling at the top of her lungs at my friend I still can’t fathom what happened definitely do not recommend this store you will be harassed to no end it’s sad because I’ve spent thousands of dollars with this store I guess all stores hit a point where there run by people who just don’t care about being professional

This review is solely about the customer service, not the products. I went into Dick’s yesterday (1/2/25) to look for a pair of shoes for myself and my son. There were three employees sitting or leaned up against displays in the shoe section. Not one said a word as I entered the shoe section. I browsed for a few minutes and not one asked, “May I help you? Are you looking for something specific? Let me know if you need help with anything!” I could not find the shoes I was looking for so I looked at an employee and asked, “Do you carry the Glycerin Max,” and before he could answer, another employee spoke up and said no. I kept looking and one of them left, but the other two stayed leaning against displays (looking lazy) and proceeded to scroll on their cell phones. Those 20 something’s are getting paid to scroll their cell phones, look lazy, and do nothing productive for that store. I ultimately left the shoe section without trying anything on because I was so annoyed by their complete lack of customer service or work ethic in general. I went to the resister to check out with another item and the cashier (who was the one who said no in the shoe section) again never greeted me or said anything other than, “Are you a rewards member?” Common courtesy when someone gets to a register is, “Hi, did you find everything you needed today?” Or maybe, “Hi, how are you?” Dick’s has a nice selection of merchandise, but they need better training for their employees or to hire people with personalities better than rocks and some work ethic.

Every time I visit this one it’s a rude kid at the front register who can’t be bothered with a question as they just stand there doing nothing😂

If your planning on buying shoes at this store forget it. Nobody ask if you need help and they actually avoided me lol. At 09:30 on 05/29/2024. I felt Amazon would deliver my shoes before these people attended to me. They do actually have great looking shoes I'll give them that.

Absolutely the best sporting goods store ever. The people were all so nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the service we received. If I could give them 10 stars I would. To the girl in charge of the shoe department you are the best. Thank you.

So thankful for Michael the manager. He saved Christmas for us. There was some confusion with customer service and the online order, but he made it right and sent us on our way with our order fulfilled. Not to mention all the workers moving that line quickly on the busiest day ever 12/23
