While shopping at Walmart today I waited in line at the First Convenience Bank located within Walmart…All I wanted to do was exchange a quantity of $20 bills for $100 bills so as to reduce the thickness of my wallet…First thing the teller wanted was an account number. I told her I didn’t have an account at this bank. She responded in a snippy millennial voice “Well without an account we can’t do anything for you”…As I turned to leave I noticed the signage on the wall stating something to the effect of “We do everything for our customers”. I brought this to the attention of the teller and most everyone else in the bank…I will not patronize nor recommend this bank to anyone.

The first convenience inside the Las Cruces Walmart on Walton is the absolute worst. They get mad at you for bringing in smaller bills to deposit. I get tips so I'm bringing in a lot of $1 and $5 bills at the end of the month to save me from making multiple trips to the bank. They talk under their breath right in front of me, joke around and complain with co workers while running the money through a money counter then treat me like I'm a criminal bringing in stolen money or something! They are so rude and unprofessional. The manager and the two other short meatballs that work there and the tweaker looking dude have all done it to me. If you don't like counting money (through a money MACHINE at that) then why on earth do you work at a bank? Very lazy individuals. Oh, and please stop playing your ghetto music and start taking PROFESSIONAL pictures to hang on your wall. Nobody wants to see your filtered Snap chat photos on a bank wall. very immature management.

Worst Bank ever!!!!!!!!!!! It takes forever to deposit my checks after verifying my checks she refused to put it in my account because it had my company name on it with my name I have never had a stamp she wanted stamp by my company! Never in 4 years of banking had this issue she wrote all over my check so I can’t take it any where else so thanks for nothing!!! Do not recommend this place rude people that like to waste customers time!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would.Can't wait to switch banks. Its aweful when. You can't get ahold of customer service right away and your literally waiting 2 hours and 36 min on the phone finally giving up. You try and communicate to the representative and they are clueless. Calling customer service is the absolute worst.

Staff is always helpful but they open at 10 am? Not only do you have to go inside Walmart for anything you also have to wait for 10 am? Half the morning is gone how LAZY

Since the opening of new branches everywhere, the funding for their website and app must have gone up. Everything works as intended and the best part is that they are open on weekends. Great staff at other locations besides Las Cruces as well.

Terrible "bank". I don't have an account here and never will but trying to handle my brothers finances (with a POA that has been verified) is a complete nightmare! Every person I've spoken to, are completely clueless. I actually feel bad for the employees..very poor management. I was told my experience would be better if I opened an account with them..haha...I explained that I would NEVER!

Don’t get this bank at allll!!!if you ever have to call them for anything there’s no direct number. Only a 1800 # and they never answer I’ve waited longer than 1 1/2 hour’s and still no answer my coworkers at tlc also experience then same problem

This is a racist, non-helpful bank that should be SHUT DOWN, from the 1 800 number to the management. Disgusting bank, disgusting employees. Not if but WHEN they finally get a class action lawsuit - I want to make sure that my voice weighs in , with my complaint to the BBB and the FDIC along with videos and evidence of their terrible dealings. This isn't a bank-it's a travesty of errors and idiots. IF YOU'RE BLACK IN NEW MEXICO OR TEXAS -DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK. US bank is a much better option.

Overall the bank and staff are good and very helpful. Comparing to banks I've done business with in the past everything is average. My only personal complaint is location. There is only 1 bank and one atm and they are both inside which is shut down for 2 weeks because of covid so my only option for deposits is to go 30 miles away and same to withdrawal unless you pay fees to use another atm.

These people need to learn to have manners on the phone. . . .Waited on hold over 20 min and Robert answered and said he could not give me that information and then hung up as I was asking a question. Rude and inconsiderate. I would never bank there.
