[6 years later, still the best!] My favorite thrift store in Las Cruces- and those ladies (and maybe men?) sure know how to create a beautiful display!

I adopted Molly from here, love our little girl. It was a long process but this group puts a lot of work into finding these babies a forever home.

I called...left message. No response. I emailed. No response. I wanted to donate cat food, unopened insulin and syringes, after I recently had to put my Charlie to sleep. In the past I tried to donate food.....no response. I worry about the animals at Safe Haven. Will donate to Dona Ana Animal Shelter instead. What is sad....there is no emergency animal care in Las Cruces. Do the animal shelters here really care?Don't think Safe Haven does.

I wanted to like this store but whoever prices target brand at $18 needs to do more research. Also not recognizing reproduction items and pricing them as if they were vintage.Bonus, ? ☕️ if your in the pet section you can hear employees talking about how stupid people are for donating high dollar items from their relatives who have passed.

Well organized with a good variety and friendly staff. Some prices seemed a little high while others seemed low.We like that it supports an animal non profit.

15.00 for a used shirt? Have these folks lost their minds? Old, used junk that can be purchased at Walmart for less.

The best in town! I moved here 8 mos ago. I like the idea of buying repurposed items and supporting a good cause. This store has the widest array of merchandise, is well organized and the staff thoughtfully presents the items, How can anyone complain about clothes being 80% off except the Boutique items? I can get shirts, pants, sweaters for less than one pays at a rummage sale. Highly recommend.

I started shopping here a few years ago when my sister moved to town and we were trying to furnish her family's new home. At that time, they were operating as a genuine thrift store - great merchandise at fair prices. Since then, they seem to fancy themselves a boutique or antique store. Anything that seems older than 10 years is treated as an invaluable relic with an astronomical price tag to match. The prices at curated vintage stores are better. We've had a couple questionable experiences here including being refused merchandise that was "display only" (why would anything at a thrift store, let alone reader's digest anthologies, be unavailable for purchase?). There was another time when we apparently seemed so suspicious that a less-than-pleasant manger was called over to review the price on an item that was clearly labeled with no fewer than six price tags. It's disappointing when a seemingly worthwhile charitable organization loses sight of its mission.

the clothes & shoes were extremely overpriced, clothes starting at 8$ & up just to be covered in stains & holes. shoes aren’t any lower than 30$ and they just don’t have many good finds clothes wise

i think it's sad when folks put down a thrift store which is run on volunteer staff and whose income goes to save homeless pets or the needy. i love safe haven thrift store. they run great sales each week, have a wide assortment of donated merchandise which is separated by displayed areas in the good size store and a friendly staff. the christmas sales were so hot the customer line outside started 1 hour before opening. i got a large handmade wool rug at a great price and i try to visit them every week. not to be missed!

I have shopped here and donated to this place. It is very clean for any resale store, sometimes the prices are a bit high, but it is going for a good cause. I won't donate to anywhere else in the area. Nice friendly people work there.
