Seriously after having issues with these people in the past from hazzelle originally ruining my hair to getting hate from the manager because angelica didnt want to work with my hair because apparently its too dark ive had highligs before ive gone blonde in the past and you are all the worse! I can’t believe this place has a 4.0 review score! I came home to a family event! I tried giving them another chance. I went in in person to scheduled an appointment with Cecy originally to do highlight touch up possibly to go lighter she set me up with Kathy as I was explaining what I wanted for my hair and explaining my past experience cecy said she and kathy were the best to work with dark hair and actually lighting it so she set the appt. I felt hopeful this time! But Later that day my appt was canceled apparently they tried calling me to reschedule bc Kathy the stylist id be with was not going to be available I had to call to make another appt my conversation with Cecy was basically me asking why I needed a test strand she literally saw my hair already highlighted all i wanted was to get touch up maybe go lighter, well I ended up scheduling the appt this time with her and my appt was today canceled again. I called and Spoke with Jennifer and was told that Cecy doesn’t want to do my hair anymore and no longer welcome there! Because they don’t feel comfortable working with dark highlighted hair well you shouldn’t have become a hairdresser in the first place worse place and people.. Never again!!

The trainer with the bun, nose piercing and green flower nails was extremely passive aggressive with the girl she was training. It was her FIRST day on the register and I could tell she was getting stressed from the trainer constantly hounding her. I almost told the trainer to shut it because she started stressing me out! Would absolutely hate to work with her. She gives bulky bully vibes. Will be going to Sephora next time.

Ceci is an extraordinary stylist! I always see Ceci for my haircuts at the salon there and I’m always so happy with my results. She takes her time to explain how to care for your hair properly and has no problem recommending products the store carries so you can have salon style results even at home. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment! Thank you again Ceci.

Dear Ulta Customer Service,
I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experiences at your store in Las Cruces, NM. Unfortunately, I found the staff unhelpful and unresponsive to my inquiries. On one occasion, I was seeking assistance in finding my shade of the Hourglass liquid blush, but when one of the testers failed to work, the staff member was unable to resolve the issue and simply left without further assistance.
Additionally, I visited the store to request a sample of a lighter shade of foundation, after receiving a darker sample from Sephora. I was informed that Ulta no longer offers samples and was met with an unprofessional comment from the same staff member, who implied that customers only come for samples and never purchase the products. I felt this remark was uncalled for, especially as I was genuinely trying to find the right shade for my needs.
As someone who values high-end products and customer service, I am seriously reconsidering shopping at Ulta in the future. I believe better training for staff and a more customer-centric approach would greatly improve the shopping experience.

I had done some research and thought a particular eye concealer and brow pencil would be a good addition to my makeup collection. Unfortunately, they were not working out and so I returned them today.
In steps Bianca to the rescue! She was so helpful and found a few items for me to try in-store so I could compare...it made finding the right products so much easier! I couldn't be happier with the new products and her expert recommendations! Thank you!

I return two products today with my receipt (foundation and concealer) the color did not work for me. The young lady who took my return scrutinized both items 10 to 15 seconds. I asked, is there a problem, she said no just checking to see if maybe we can put the foundation back out on the floor and ulta has a 30day policy (receipts were within 30 days)she then ask for my ID, which I was confused because I’ve have made returns before and never was asked for my ID. Definitely did not appreciate she made me feel if I had done something shady. would not be incline to buy anything again from Ulta

Got my eyebrows laminated and shaped by Nicky at the benefit brow bar and she did amazing! Second time I go with her and always does a great job. Very kind and knowledgeable.

This place is great. Everyone is so friendly and quick to make sure you know they are there if you need them. And when applying any makeup to color match they are really gentle and dont just go slapping it on. I usually order online but its nice going in when everyone is friendly
