Extremely helpful and kind! I was having a lot of trouble with my previous carrier with transferring my number over, and I went in to the store and they got it all figured out.

Staff is semi incompetent at best. Had to make two trips to get a new phone to work at all with Verizon service and had to settle on using a physical-sim when the new phone is e-sim compatible. Was told by the staff that I would need to go to the corporate store on Lohman or on Main to get the e-sim conversion done.Please note this is an independent Verizon store so they are lacking in many areas of support for Verizon's services. Saw several guys waiting for service behind me that had also made multiple trips to the store for ongoing issues.

I deleted an old business email and lost all of my contacts. Edgar was able to correct my mistake in minutes and was extremely helpful. If you’re going to the Northrise store ask for Edgar!

Jenny is the best! I am retired tech and I was moving numbers from a carrier to Verizon. Camped all over NM & Verizon is the best. Took other carrier devices & family Verizon members always had service. We had to use their HOTSPOT!.have issues moving numbers. JENNY stayed and talked and helped us with Verizon tech on the phone. Readers she did this for 4 1/2 hours! Store closed at 7pm she stated Till 8:30pm. She has many young children. She started a month ago.I have hired thousands and she would move up rapidly in my company.Please keep Jenny in Las Cruces on your radar.

If for some reason you need to go to this store, understand that you can't just go do it while running errands. You need at least a whole morning/afternoon freed up, and might even need several days. Day 1: SIM card in my phone went haywire, needed it replaced. About an hour wait before they finally were able to put the pin in, find out it didn't work for the account, but no worries, have the account holder change the pin for the account and come back tomorrow. Day 2: Two hour wait this time for help. The pin naturally didn't work. No worries, come back tomorrow with a pic of the account manager's ID. Day 3: Came in the a pic of the account manager's ID. Employee says that this actually doesn't accomplish anything. No worries though, have the account manager make you one of the managers on the account and come back tomorrow! Day 4: Showed up at 10:20 (store opens at 10). The employees, much like me, must have given up on the store as well because it was closed. Went to the Verizon store on Lohman and they fixed the problem in 25 minutes.

Whatever you do, DO NOT fall for the "free" upgrade phone scam. It's nothing more than a trick to keep you with Verizon for three years, only you're not told that. The guy that waited on me was slick, and talked his way around everything that fully described what this promotion was. It's NOT giving you a "free" iPhone 14 for your older phone, It's a fancy way of having you get a new phone, and then having to pay it off over a three year period. If you do get sucked in for this promo, and then decide later to leave Verizon, you are expected to pay the balance of the "free" phone. I ran into this after one of the worst weeks of Verizon's treatment of me. I decided to leave them, and all of a sudden, there's a huge balance for me to pay off on my "free" phone. They would cancel the balance if I send back the "free" phone. I most certainly will send the phone back, and get a nice new one from T-Mobile who told me the full details on how I would get a phone from them. Verizon: NEVER AGAIN after a long 19 year history.

Edgar is friendly and knows what he is doing. Very patient with every client no matter what their situation is.The only thing is there is a sign that says "We are open" but they don"t open until 10:00am. Very confusing!

Verizon isn't the best provider (hidden fees etc) but this is a good store. David is very helpful and friendly whenever I've gone in.

Went to this store location during a emergency my phone was broken completely and went in to purchase a new one. I should say tried to go in. Went up to the door at 4:30 pm on a Saturday April 8th 2023 and there was a hand written sign on the window that said they were on break would be returning at 4:15 guess they were late returning to work I waited another 15 mins till 4:45 and then had to leave. Honestly I'd expect that from a small mom and pop business but verizon I couldn't belive it. Verizon lost my business for this phone purchase because I went to best buy. And probly all my future business as well I feel like the customers come second. I have had good experience on the Lohman location. Does treat the customer right in my opinion but still the wait times there arnt worth the time if there busy and I understand why there so busy when other locations won't even open there door for you because the employees are on extended break.
