Not sure about the options Google has, this is a hotel. In a pretty rough part of town. The lady who checked me in was nice and noticing I was a bit apprehensive about the place (I booked through hotels.com) pointed to all the security cameras and that they had someone who's there all the time in the parking lot that's behind a gate.
Overall the room was okay, shower pressure was decent. Bed springs were noisy and the room could use a really good deep cleaning. It was quieter than I expected.

Horrible place real dirty pool dirty doesn't have no water for 80 bucks and still need a 50 dollar deposit for a place kinda reminds me of abandoned run down

SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!
Check in was a hassle (even with the reservation) receptionist was less than helpful. Unadvertised $35.00 deposit that takes days to put back on card. Upon check out I asked about the deposit return delay and the guy began yelling at me that he’s “not in charge of banking”… I walked off without arguing as he began to berate me how rude it is if me to walk off without signing my receipt?? I THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA FOLLOW ME TO THE PARKING LOT??! The room itself was ok, minimalistic, small tv, 1 switch to turn on everything in the bathroom area. (3 separate lights and 2 annoyingly loud fans for 1 switch??)
Now don’t get me wrong… with the big chili out front I was expecting gimmicky, but not cheesy
I would have been better off if I just stayed in the car!!
DONT STAY HERE
**UPDATE** the owner of the hotel responded to my review seemingly blaming me for the interaction I had with not 1 but 2 of his employees?!?! In what business world is there ANY SCENARIO where the customer should leave being berated and in literal fear he was following me out to the parking lot???

Clean, safe, quiet. Extremely well managed. Great staff. Neighborly environment. Thank you Anthony for doing such a great job and for maintaining a clean and safe environment for my son and me. The staff are EXCELLENT at keeping out the riff raff from the neighborhood. The Chile is by far the best accommodations with the best rates in Las Cruces.

Take a snap of this enormous, dusty old chili if heading west on I-10 and just move on – no need to even get out of the car.Nothing else really to do or see in the area – unless you need to crash, and the Big Chile Inn is right there.
