I've been using their rx app and it still takes a week and multiple attempts to pick up. Really a pain that we have to use this pharmacy due to the bcbs insurance. plus we live in a different town.

We went in for the COVID walking clinic on November 13th, just by chance. Since Smith’s refused to come to terms with LANL’s prescription insurance carrier, Nambe has been our pharmacy. We have witnessed the growing pains and frustrations that all of us have felt, including the Nambe staff, which they have handled with grace and professionalism. The entire time we was in Nambe Drugs all of the providers had a smile. Some days we must pause and reflect that we are not the only people that need service in the town and are not the center of the universe. Instant gratification is the norm, though the drug companies do not see it this way. They see profit margins and bottom lines. Recently there have been reports on the news, that few people watch due to hate and violence topping the reports. There have been many reports on a massive shortage of ADHD, COVID Vaccines, and many other medications as the primary company decided they were not making enough money and put production on pause, this includes trying to get them from Express Scripts. Millions of people need the meds to function daily, not just in Los Alamos. Getting upset about shortages and wait times is akin to getting mad that we have a roof over our head and food to eat. We understand when you have had enough, that is it. Been there recently, and it is not pleasant. You do you, and we will take care of us.Please remember, Nambe Drugs was hit with a Tsunami of frustrated customers, and they have kept all of us afloat to the best of their abilities. I applaud their selfless service and ask that the naysayers and 0 star givers remember they are a team of highly qualified individuals, in very trying conditions, working with care and compassion to ensure that clients get the right dose, right route, right drug, and right information for each and every human and animal patient that is presented to them for help.We will all get through this with kindness, caring and compassion for others. Make someone else smile today, hold the door open for a stranger, let someone skip ahead in line, put your best self forward and maybe the world will be just a bit brighter. We are grateful that Nambe Drugs is here for us. Thank you.

Nambe has been incredibly professional and kind every single time I have been in to pick up a prescription. I love that I can refill through an app and send messages to the pharmacy. They’ve been able to help with needed expedited fills a couple times, even calling me as I left the hospital to make sure someone was able to pick up for me before they closed on a Saturday. The last 6 months of my life have been a medical nightmare, but Nambe Pharmacy has been so wonderful to my husband and I both through all of it. Thank you!

Transmission from doctors office shows accepted by pharmacy. Pharmacy will claim they never received it. Said there was nothing they could do fix the glitch. They are slow and have zero customer service skills. Good at giving vaccines but that's all.

I have been coming to this pharmacy for 7 months. I need the same prescriptions each month. Every time I try to refill, they are 3-8 days late. When I ask them what the issue is, they are rude and give some excuse about it being out of stock. I know it is not a common stock item - that’s why I call days ahead of time so there is plenty of time to order it. This has been incredibly frustrating. I wanted to support a local business, but I have no choice but to switch to another pharmacy.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. I have lived in Los Alamos for 5 years and this is my first time attempting to have a prescription filled here. I have autoimmune conditions and have avoided COVID until today. I was prescribed paxlovid because I am a high risk patient. I called Nambe on the way to the ER to ask if I received a prescription if they would be able to fill it, they said yes. Then I called on the way from the ER and said I have COVID, can you bring my prescription out to me? They said yes. After sitting in the parking lot for an hour, I called again and was told they would not process my prescription without a GFR (kidney function) lab result from within the past year and that I would need to call my doctor to have it sent to them. My doctor is closed on Friday so I called Tri-Core. Tri-Core requires the pharmacy to call them. I asked them to call and they had Tri-Core fax the lab results. Of course they didn’t write down the information correctly and got the wrong lab results. I called back and the pharmacist argued with me and hung up on me when I was trying to ask if they could call the hospital. So, I finally just went inside with my mask. They said they were calling the hospital and I should leave. I then called the hospital. Nambe had not called them. The hospital was able to call and said that it should be filled. I have been here 3 hours and they keep hanging up on me. I called the hospital back to see if they could transfer it because no other pharmacy requires GFR numbers. My prescription cannot be sent to another pharmacy because Nambe accepted it. They are holding my prescription hostage. All while I feel absolutely miserable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Took a week plus three in-person visits to get basic prescriptions filled. Staff is rude. They say “we’ll have it ready later today,” then when you go in the next day, they say the same thing again. They are not at all apologetic, either. Express Scripts can ship something faster than Nambe will fill it. I’d rather pay out of pocket at Smiths than deal with these people again.

Worst service I've ever had. Medicines are never ready on the right day. The attendants are rude. Nobody has respect for customers. If we need a pharmacy it is to buy medicine and this should be taken seriously.

Hi everyone. Nambe seems nice. BUT THEY LITTERALLY DON'T CARE IF YOU DIE.They will refuse to fill all prescriptions unless you fill EVERY prescriptions there. So if they don't have it in stock, you get it filled somewhere else. Surprise!!!! They won't fill that or any other medication for you anymore. Literally medications that you need to live will stop getting filled without notice until you call to ask "why aren't these getting filled".They will literally discriminate against someone with an ADHD diagnosis who had to get meds filled somewhere else because Nambe can't keep Adderall in stock.

Nambe Drugs is a stop you must make whenever you have questions about your medications, allergies or flu shots. I encourage you to take time to meet the people there, ask them questions because here they take good care of you.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Without going into a ton of boring personal details, my experience at this pharmacy was horrible to say the least. The people who work there are rude, snarky and make tons of mistakes. They charged my insurance for a prescription I never received. At one point a person behind the counter actually shouted a comment over to me about a prescription I was picking up. I even noticed the girl behind the counter huff and roll her eyes at an elderly man who was asking a simple question. Don’t waist your time going there!
