Nestled in the heart of Mesilla since 1985, The Chocolate Lady is a cute little chocolate shop on the plaza of Old Mesilla. This tiny little spot welcomes you into a world of handcrafted chocolate delights, where the chocolate is so delicious and good. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the deliciousness. They have many chocolate treats and gift options, including fantastic chocolate things with peppers, super cute Halloween treats, amazing toffee and pecan barks, and Dubai chocolate with delicious pistachio filling. They also have the best pistachio homemade ice cream. While the chocolate is a must try, experiences with customer service vary, with some finding the staff nice and awesome, and others noting a sometimes rude attitude. It is a must to stop by.
Tiny little spot but the chocolate things with peppers are really fantastic. I think I’m going back again tomorrow before I leave town.

The chocolate is so good here, it’s a must to stop by.. If you love pistachio ice cream, you gotta try their homemade ice cream..Highly recommend checking this place out! Awesome store with great staff!
