Dietary restrictions: The chef was very accommodating and created a dish not on the menu at my request

Lovely ambiance with excellent service. The steaks are always outstanding. If you enjoy old-fashioned fine dining, you will love Double Eagle!

I loved being in this restaurant. The building was built in 1849. It has a beautiful banquet room. In the center of the restaurant is a large greenhouse with tables to eat at. The food was absolutely delicious.

Nice place, but service was veeeerrrry slow, and parking was a nightmare. I ordered the soup which was delicious, the nachos with chicken was decent but I think it could have been better if they'd seasoned the meat a bit more and maybe added some jalapeos. I ordered the salmon which looked quite appealing... but after the first bite, i realized everything after that was undercooked. Undercooked salmon is no bueno. The waitress took it to her manager and sous chef so they at least treated it seriously. At that point I was done. All things considered, I would expect more for the price tag. It wasn't bad per se, but it was underwhelming.Parking: There's parking, but the area is a popular shopping spot apprently. Had to circle around twice before i found something open up.

Biggest ripoff ever! $65/person for a buffet of over cooked meat & and funky looking sides, I was afraid to even get any of my favorite fruit salad with the coconut & marshmallows. The plates were dirty and the champagne glasses were sticky. Speaking of the champagne, might as well just of had orange juice! Don’t waste your hard earned money on CA prices for a NM restaurant. The only caveat was the atmosphere.

Outstanding! A treasure gold nugget hidden in our corner of the world. The ambience--both indoor and outdoor--the famous saloon, historical dining rooms and courtyard are world class, complimenting the world class menu with it's unique, Southwestern tasty take on enticing cuisine. And, who knew the ornamental greenery was that of the age of the dinosaurs?!

We had steak mashed potatoes green beans salad and bread. So good! Our server had way too much going on but she kept at it. Would love to go back and try the other menu.

The waiter Gabriel was outstanding. You could not ask for better service. I would have rated our experience 5 stars except for the fact the mashed potatoes and green beans were barely warm along with the meat. You folks need to find some way to assure the food is hot when it arrives on the table, not just warm. That was the only item we had to complain about.
