5/1 went to get wild bird food, sign on display 2/20$ bags marked with "X" some spilling seeds. Cashier had to ask if that was the price ( not in circular) said "they would honor that price" as if I'm a liar?? Should of took pictures

Normally I've had great customer service at the location except for today when I was trying to find a certain spray paint that the Ace hardware website said they had in stock and the older employee who works in the paint area was literally telling me that they didn't have it in stock but then I told him it was showing that 15 were in their store and then he responded to me by saying then I can keep looking. He then took a look on his scanner and found a item number and I had that number on my phone as well and then he finally grabbed a step ladder and was able to find it even though he claimed that he didn't have it. He just didn't want to put forth the effort to actually help me. I think he's working in the wrong environment if he's treating customers like this. I worked in retail for almost 20 years and the last thing I would have done is acted the way he did and tried avoiding helping a customer like he did and he was extremely unprofessional. If he didn't want to help me he could have had someone else who actually wanted to try to find that item that they clearly had in stock..

Ace Hardware is by far My favorite place to shop for all my home improvement needs. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable which is great because it makes my shopping easier.

I purchased an adapter that broke they replaced it it broke again they said it was my fault even though it happened the same way as I asked for corporates pH number the cashier was very disrespectful so I will never purchase at this Over priced hardware store again

I do like this ave which is located in portales NM I like to just go in for rare goodies in their kitchen section they have dry gourmet soups and awesome kitchen gadgets. This one carries Stanley and yeti! They also care cathart clothing men and women and work boots... staff is always friendly!!! Stop on by and say hi!!!!
