Nice atmosphere, I like the decor and surrounding little shops. The staff is friendly and very patient. The food was good not bad for the price. There is a good selection. I definitely enjoy their sandwiches and look forward to trying the others on my next visit. I like to call it a little hidden gem.

This is one of the best burgers I've had in eastern New Mexico. Soft bun with 2 crispy patties and lots of fun toppings to bring it all together. Crispy shoestring fries to top it off. Overall I would highly recommend.

Very disappointed in what used to be a pleasant experience. Our counter greeter was as warm as our food. The steamer was not steamy...it was a warmee. There was no one in line, and 2 tables. Our food was cold upon arrival , and it took 18 minutes to create 2 cold breakfast sandwiches. The cheese was cold the eggs were cold...there was no meat with request for pepper jack instead. I request a reheat...which I hate to do but cold eggs are gross.this resulted in attitude and and a returned plate with yet no temperature adjustment. ( Disclaimer *-if there is no heat coming from the food, I would call this a fail. The plate was not warm ) I went and requested to-go. I heated my food in my toaster oven...I am not sure what the issue was. I promise I will not go back there.

Selections are minimal when it comes to food. Our food was cold and not very tasty.... Burrito was greasy. So much grease that it oozed out the bottom of the burrito. The breakfast sandwich was little to be desired and an utter disappointment when we saw it. I expected so much more from the reviews, and was disappointed.

Fun and quirky little spot. Love that they are family friendly and they have a pretty great menu! Staff is kind and the coffee is good.

First timer. Stopped into the cafe this evening around 6 for a quick bite after the picture and reviews this place left us wanting to come and try it out. Walking in the door you have the arcade games (most of the games run down and broken) not the biggest deal but the inches of dust under the game area really made me wonder what the rest of the place looked like the further we got in. Most of the tables were taken and the ones that weren't were not cleaned, they were not overly busy you would think that in these times they would pay more attention to the disinfecting tables between each guest. The ambience was lacking, don't get me wrong it had its cute touches but for a eatery it definitely needed some upkeep and a massive cleaning!

We had a great lunch! I had 'The White Jail Bird' sandwich & my husband had 'The Interrogator' & added provolone cheese. Both were really good. Staff was friendly. You order at the counter & they bring your order to you by number you put on your table. I had the potato salad, the potatoes were a bit firm for me, but had good flavor. My husband had the pasta salad & like it.

Great little find in Portales! From the moment I walked in, the smiles kept coming and so did the great coffee and food. Our server highly recommended the burger but I opted for the Cobb instead...due to a long drive I had that afternoon. I didn't want to get hit too hard with a "Burger-Coma" whilst driving country side for 3 hours...been there done that.... Not fun. That said, the Cobb was excellent and the other salads and sandwiches to hit the table all looked amazing too. We all cleared our plates of course.... Should tell you all you need to know, America. Enjoy.

Traveling through NM to Tx and found this place on yelp, decided to stop after reading the menu, love the sandwich names! And the other reviews. Walked in to a live band playing which was really nice after hours of driving. It's a real home town, coffee house/ lunch place with a great owner than coms around to every table to make sure your happy. We enjoyed relaxing for an hour while listening to music and refueling on burgers.

Superb food and fantastic service. Had a Cuban that was absolutely to die for. The bread is fresh as can be and the pickles are spot on. Even the mustard was amazing. Slow roasted pork shaved thin as paper in eastern New Mexico? Amazing. I'd have given this sandwich a glowing review in Miami. In the middle of the Culinary wasteland of eastern New Mexico/west texas? Positively miraculous. I'll be eating more meals here in future,
