About Dollar General

Dollar General is a basic discount store with food and merchandise. It is frequently open when other local businesses are closed. Customers report a great selection of everything you could need, with the variety of products getting better. Experiences with staff vary. Many reviews describe wonderful, friendly, and helpful workers who provide excellent customer service, contributing to a great shopping experience. The store is often organized. However, some staff can be rude, appear frustrated, and seem to lack customer service or cash register training, which negatively impacts the experience.

Staff is helpful, but seems like they are given a lot to do with not a lot of hands. Even so, they're always helpful and courteous. I prefer this Dollar General to the other dollar store in town

We ended up here when we arrived in the evening when most local businesses were closed for the evening. Basic discount store food / merchandise. We were able to get enough food here to make a basic dinner.
