From what we could see this looked like a fun place to shop. We tried to visit on 2/7/24 around 3:30 but it was closed. Maybe this shop is only open during Summer months. We assumed this was true for The Bobcat as well. Too bad. Now we just have to try shopping for carved bears and Native American jewelry in Taos or Santa Fe. Next time when we bring visitors we will stop on the way up to Red River instead of shopping here. We did enjoy shopping at Fry's in Red River. They were actually open during the week and during the day.

It feels so welcoming and tranquil in this shop. I loved the wood carved bears and purchased one myself. Would recommend for anyone visiting Red River, New Mexico.

Very warm and welcoming atmosphere lots of different things from gifts to home decor. Bought a very cute bear for my porch and absolutely love it! I’ll definitely be returning!! If you’re visiting Red River you’ve definitely gotta check this place out!

Shocked to hear all the bad reviews...Our experience was great , a very warm welcome as we walked in , the man even gave a treat to our lil Yorkie. Prices were very reasonable and very well made decorations.

Absolutely no customer service whatsoever! The guy was mumbling about us being in the store too long. I see why all the terrible reviews. If every business in Red River treated their customers like that , your town would blow away in the wind. Don’t waste your time looking at anything. It’s obvious they don’t want anyone’s business.

I have to agree with the other reviews. As soon as I walked in I felt unwelcomed, and the tone of the lady was rude. As soon as I said I was going to take a bear it changed. It's a shame because all the wooden crafts are excellent, well-built, and the pricing is awesome. If I wasn't from out of town I would have not bought one.

You would think a 60 y/o male shopping at the store in the morning with a closed container of coffee isn't a problem! I guess I'll be sending clients elsewhere. I could understand the potentially for a child spilling a drink on an item but a grown adult!

We had a great shopping experience. Great and Friendly customer service. Only four stars because we had tryed to go to the shop the day before on a Sunday at 3:00 and it was closed when online said it was open.

Puts a smile on my face to come home and see this guy's happy face. So glad I got this bear. It is well made. I only wish I had picked up a couple extra signs.
