The lady working there would not sell me a screen protector. I had bought it when I bought my phone and it is a covered item. Because they had 2 left she said I had to buy it outright and they can not sell me as a replacement. I was shocked. I had to put my name and number. I felt like there’s something going on to have items in front of my face but to say nope you can’t have it. Horrible customer service. Go to cottonwood, ten times better service. He was even confused himself why they couldn’t sell me the product.

Warning to potential buyers:I had a disappointing experience at this store. Landon was the only staff member who seemed friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the management's lack of training and support for their employees became evident during my visit. Landon had to manage the entire store on his own while the rest of the staff remained in the back.I visited this store to purchase two phones, a new Samsung and a new iPhone, both with 1 TB of storage. The first female employee I spoke to was in a hurry and mistakenly ordered the Samsung and gave us the smallest storage option, 128GB, for the iPhone. She instructed us to return the following day with the old phone for a $1,000 trade-in value. However, upon returning, she claimed there was nothing she could do and reduced the trade-in value to $700.Upon reviewing the documents, we discovered that we would only receive $235 for an iPhone 13 with 512GB in excellent condition. When we reached out to AT&T for assistance, they informed us that this store was a franchise, leaving us with no recourse.To make matters worse, when my Samsung was ready for pick-up, I specifically requested that they do not activate it, as I planned to transfer my SIM card for a smoother transition. Ignoring my request, they activated a new SIM card without my consent, causing further issues. (I did not receive the requested 1TB either)When I returned the next day to rectify the situation, I encountered more problems. Another female employee, presumably a manager, insisted that I had ordered my phone online and denied providing me with a phone and box the day before. Despite Landon confirming my previous visit, she continued to accuse me of lying and refused to assist. Her attitude, along with the rudeness of the other female staff, left a lasting negative impression.I strongly advise against using this store, as their lack of professionalism, deceptive practices, and poor customer service make them an unreliable choice. Considering switching carriers due to this franchise and its staff's behavior is a reasonable consideration.

Maelyn, the store manager at the Rio Rancho location, was simply amazing. She went above and beyond to service our account and helped connect us to the correct people who could fix our issues. She made multiple calls for us and stayed with us throughout the entire time in the store. Her customer service was brilliant and I wish more people had her approach. Thank you for everything, Maelyn!

My phone was acting up and needed it fixed. I was helped by the manager (cant remember his name), and he was helpful to an extent. He didnt have a whole lot to say and that he wanted me out asap. Which, normally would be great! But I didn't feel like he gave me ample opportunity to tell him what was happening. Thus, he did a "quick fix" which didn't actually do anything to resolve my phone issue. It definitely felt rushed, and kind of awkward lol

Zero customer service skills. My husband and I visited this store for help with a cracked screen. Only one associate was present - he was helping another customer (clearly trying to upsell her on something she didn't need) and he didn't acknowledge us - not even a "hello" or "I'll be with you in a few minutes"... nothing. We waited a few minutes and decided to leave. Still no acknowledgment or even a simple "goodbye". We headed to the Cottonwood store in ABQ - the Rio Rancho store is definitely one location that AT&T can safely close if they decide to cut back on locations in the future.

Went to get my daughter a new phone and while there talked about a plan change. As a nurse they were going to set me up with a plan to benefit me and my family. Long story short, it ended up being a nightmare and my phone as well as our plan was totally screwed up. Now the manager did try to fix things up, but she ended up making things worse in the long run. The gentleman that originally worked with us was very unprofessional and definitely needed either more training or a different field of work. He seemed more concerned about rhe rearranging that was going on in the store and how many first responders were signed up at another location. We will not return this location in the future.

Was in yesterday to have my number ported from Verizon and had a great experience. Kolten was fantastic and patient with the whole processes and Anthony was ready to jump in when a question or two came up that needed verifying. 6 Stars!
