Well, that happened. I was driving towards Albuquerque, and I heard, "Pop. Thump. Bump, bump, bump, bump, bump." That's right... the trailer tire blew. 6 miles outside town, where I had planned to buy new tires. No worries. I have done this before. I have a spare and a lug wrench and a jack. I have a really baf spare tire. But it was good enough to get me 6 miles. I pulled into the first big parking lot I came to, Home Depot. I explained my plight to the manager and she was nice enough to let me unhitch and leave my trailer in the parking lot, so I could go run around and get new tires without worrying about the spare popping. Which I did. Now I am sitting in the Home Depot parking lot in Rio Rancho, NM. I am exhausted and I still have to change my tires. But I cannot thank the Home Depot manager enough for helping out a stranded traveler. With kind, friendly managers like that, you know Home Depot is doing a great job.

This place can't train their employees! Been there 8 times over the last month and every and I mean ever single time they screw up at the cashier. Went to check out and I tell the cashier I am vet and have 10% discount she acknowledges, I ask here again if she applied the discount prior to paying, she says yes and I ask are you sure she says yes again. Hands me receipt and before looking I ask are you sure you applied the discount and again she says yea. Guess what she didn't so it. So she calls a supervisor which now informs me I have to go to customer service to get my refund and that the cashier is new and asks me to be patient! Really? I need to be patient with a blatant liar ! Freaking joke! Every visit was riddled with incompetent cashiers. Had to go back the day before because they over charged me for items I didn't purchase and didn't charge me for items I did have. Customer service refunded me but I had to make a special trip. When I informed them they hadn't charged for certain items they just didn't care and never charged me for them. Oh and that 10% is now capped at $50.00 per visit so now I have to make multiple trips back and forth to buy my items to maximize my discount if I am spending more than 500 bucks which is always. I also understand they are going to cap veteran discounts at 350 per year. Really ? So putting my life on the line apparently only deserves 350 per year. Guess what Home dipsh...t I will take my business to anywhere else!

Went to lowes 3 times to get some cut plywood their saw was broken for over a month. Finally went to this home depot. Tony in lumber was very nice and cut it for me no problem. He did a great job the pieces were all the same size. I tried to tip him but he refused the money. Very helpful person. Would highly recommend this place over Rio rancho lowes if you need wood cut.

For a Home Depot, this location has me impressed. The paint department has two older gentlemen that zip around mixing paint and are happy to help with any questions one might have or not know they have. They were very helpful in advising the issues that might come from the color/sheen selection, and the durability. I also have had the opportunity to meet Ron in doors. He helped to rekey (6) Schlage lock sets I had purchased from online that came with mixed keys. He was quick in matching the tumbler pins to the key I provided. Jim is helpful in pointing out where things are located and if he is unable to assist, he gets you to the person who can help. This store has been a great location as I am used to Home Depot having a lack luster service at other locations.

I bought a washer and dryer from this store and was told they would be delivered and installed within two days of purchasing. Long story short they delivered but told me they could not install because I bought a "stock item." Sabrina (the associate who sold me the machines) assured me they'd be installed. I spoke to a manager and he sent an individual named "Mauricio" to my home to install and Mauricio was completely unprofessional- he walked in and made a comment about my toilet being in the way of where the units would go and then proceeded to leave. I asked if there was an issue in which he replied saying an associate from Home Depot would call me. I called Home Depot back and asked if I would be guaranteed installation in which the manager stated it was a courtesy sending someone to my home- that he could not guarantee anything. I then asked for the installation criteria and he could not provide me with that. My boyfriend later called and that is when more info was provided-- the installer (Mauricio) refused to install the units and we would have to install them ourselves. ABSOLUTELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR COMMUNICATION SKILLS!!

Let me tell you after walking around that store picking up the necessary things we needed we were exhausted thanks to having to wear the mask which are necessary during the COVID-19 we were greeted by the sweetest cashier ever her name was Sandy not only was she extremely helpful but she got is the necessary Help needed to load our truck all employees need to follow her boot .

Went to get a dishwasher. Found one. Of course everything is "out of stock". So sick of those 3 words. Don't advertise unless you have it. Guess it's amazon. The one good part is I got customer service from a very good guy who seemed like the only one who works in the store. He was bouncing around helping two other customers as well other "employees" stood around talking and watching. I screwed up and didn't get his name but to the long haired older gentleman, THANK YOU!!! In today's times of horrible customer service everywhere you a flashback to the good days when companies cared.

Took forever for someone to help us. When we were finally able to head to the registers the computer system was down so they had to process everything manually. You can imagine how that went when you consider the average age of the cashiers and their dependency on technology.

I've had such a great experience with everyone I've encountered at this place. People are genuinely happy to work here and it really shows. I had tenants in my house for 7 years who totally trashed my place so I was at this store almost every day. I was going to go with Lowe's for carpet but because of the positive attitudes of the employees I changed to HD. All employees were fantastic but one in particular stood out. Gilbert back in the door area. Very knowledgeable and always helpful. Thank you to everyone who made my 14 hour days more manageable.

Wow what a great location! I ordered a water filter online and I accidentally ordered the wrong size and didn't realize that until I had picked up the water filter. I went to exchange it for the right one and the cashier Andres was great he helped me out by calling to get my exchange started, while he was on the phone I went and found the correct water filter! , so they gave me a refund for the original order and I purchased the correct one, except right when I was leaving the Manager John Spence called me back and gave me a full refund for all the trouble it had taken to find the correct water filter, definitely great customer service!
