I first got my eyelashes done here. It took her about 20 mins to put them on (HUGE RED FLAG)! About a week later they started to hurt. She glued clumps of lashes to multiple of my natural lashes. When my natural lashes started to grow out it was painful. This is why when getting eyelash extensions done by a professional, they will only glue the false eyelashes to ONE natural eyelash at a time. She is not experienced, nor cares about the quality obviously. Moving on… later I thought I would give Lulu’s another chance, maybe hair was her thing and not lashes. She talked me into getting a balayage color. Long story short… it was awful!!! I came home and my husband and daughter looked at me with their jaws hitting the floor. Before I said anything they told me to immediately go back and get it fixed. I didn’t want her to butcher my hair a second time, so I decided to never go back. I have no clue why this place has such good reviews. The only thing I can guess is that people that go here have no clue what good quality is, no fault of their own.

The staff here is so attentive and passionate about their art! Their recommendations are made with sincerity and what's best for your hair in mind. I have long, thigh length hair that has caused many issues and stresses with salons in the past, but it was nothing short of adored and pampered at this salon. They've earned a new lifelong client ❤️

My daughter went to LuLu's Salon and had her hair done and eyelash extensions put on at this Salon. Within an hour her eyes were burning and blood shot red. Clearly she was having an allergic reaction to the extensions. She went back to the Salon and let Aurora know privately that her eyelashes were burning her eyes, and if they can be removed. Aurora said that was normal and to give it time with ibuprofen and resting her eyes. She told her that if it still bothered her give her a call tomorrow morning. My daughter went back to her car to drive back to Artesia but as soon as she walked out of the salon she noticed her vison was blurry. My daughter let Aurora know and Aurora insisted that it was not the eyelash extensions and she didn't know why this was happening. She told her that she couldn't remove them because didn't want to stay late and that it wasn't fair for her other clients to make them wait. My daughter then called me in Artesia to let me know what was going on. I was livid, I called the Salon 3 times and no answer, finally her husband called me back. He was telling me he needed me to calm down, that it was not a big deal. That they had other clients that had appointments. I told him my daughter is by herself and cannot drive herself to the emergency because she was seeing blurry and I was in Artesia. I let him know how worried I was and he acted as though I was over reacting. He said that she would be seen in the next 7-10 minutes. Which she was not it would be another 20 minutes till they saw her. In the time being my daughter sat in the waiting area with her hand over eyes in pain. Neither did Aurora or her husband care to check on her or console her. The only decent person there was their assistant who checked on my daughter a couple times. Aurora seemed as though she was more worried about looking bad to her cliental, telling my daughter, that there were other clients in there that get their eyelashes done and this had never happened. That this had never happened to anyone. She told my daughter why did you call your mom. Aurora you handled this situation poorly and so did your husband. It was obvious my daughter was in terrible pain and you made her wait. This whole issue was handled badly. My daughter had an allergic reaction. Take off the eyelashes that was it. People have allergic reactions, So unprofessional how this was handled and so sad. This was made to be a horrific experience and was simply handled with no consideration or empathy. The owners made my daughter wait in pain as if it was her fault. Aurora even told my daughter when she finally took her back to remove the eyelashes that her husband said she should not do it because of the way I talk to him on the phone. I don't know if they have any children of their own. But any concern parent would have been very upset hearing that grown adults who should be professional were handling this situation as they did. So So sad

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! DO NOT waste your money on these lashes. I CAN NOT even begin to describe the horror of this service and quality of product. Yesterday I had an appointment at 12pm and by 7pm I was already sitting with another business to have them removed because of the discomfort I had from the lashes scratching my eyes and the glue being all crusted and clumped together. Yes, they have lash removal service but for the sake of myself not losing it on the her and the management, I paid and left and tried to remain professional. I even contacted a different local lash tech to remove them right when my appointment ended and she Said... " I'm sorry but I cannot remove them, I have dealt with her Clients before and it is nearly impossible to remove without having lashes come off". I have been getting my lashes done for over 2 years in El Paso. I have never ever experienced something so bad that I'm now literally embarrassed to go out in public because I have lost over 60% of my lashes. Right off the bat when she starts, my eyes are starting to tear up and my first thought is the quality of the glue and her technique of application (my first red flag). She saw that I was bothered and she said " are you okay?" I said " you're being super aggressive" she replied, "agressive how?" And I said you're being rough and I can literally feel the lash extension poking my eye and during the entire service my lashes would not stop watering my eyes kept watering and she kept cleaning my tears... which is FINE because sometimes that will happen during the application processes but not during the entire session. She kept saying I thought you have had this done before? I'm thinking sooo? I'm the one in the wrong?! Yes I've done this before and this is NOT correct. She said I've been doing this for years and even if she has been doing this for years... this was a terrible application. I told her the application usually takes over and hour or so because I was getting a new set... and she said she did apply to all my lashes. But she finished in 30 minutes.to She let my lashes dry for 10 min after service and came back with a complete different attitude! Apologizing for being rough when I know damn well she just wanted a good tip and it was to Late for apologizes at that point and that is not Good customer service! The glue is a terrible product (white and clumped) and is NOT a natural look. It looks like i did them myself. I got them done today at 12pm. She is not a properly trained lash tech and I would not spend $100 or even $2 on a service like this. 2 hours I sat down yesterday with a lash tech in tears! The lash tech that was removing them could not believe the condition of my lashes and quality. She tried three liquid removers and they were basically super glued and that is why I lost 60% of my lashes. For the sake of the management do not even bother responding like you have to Other customers, that you pride yourself in "good customer service" and "we would hope for you to come back so you can resolve the issue".Really? If you can't even apply lashes correct why would I let you touch my face again or even bother to explain that the lady who did the work thinks she knows what she is doing and she doesn't. Please to anyone reading this... DO NOT COME HERE. i would hate for this to happen to someone else.
