The Salvation Army operates a food bank and a thrift store. The food bank provides a great variety of food essentials and treats for low-income individuals, with an emergency program available. A little wait is worth it, and ID with income proof is required. The thrift store has a lot of stuff with helpful staff. It offers a 50 percent off discount every Saturday, and Fridays are also frequently a discount day. The staff is pleasant, terrific, and provides special assistance.

My favorite place for thrifting! Pleasant and helpful staff. I particularly recommend you visit on a Friday - that's frequently their discount day!
