Ruidoso Winter Park offers a range of winter activities for visitors of all ages. The park features snow tubing slopes, a mountain coaster, and a zip line, providing a fun-filled experience for families. One of the key highlights is the snow tubing area, which is suitable for children over 36" tall. Toddlers under 3 can enjoy the experience for free, but they must be under 36" to use the designated kiddy area. Visitors can also ride together with their children on the regular tubing slopes. However, guests should be prepared for long lines, especially on weekends and holidays. The park recommends visiting during the week to avoid the crowds. Online ticket purchases can help streamline the process, but visitors still need to wait in line to collect their access passes. The food options at the park are limited, with overpriced and mediocre food trucks. Visitors are advised to bring their own food or eat before or after their visit. Despite the challenges, the park's staff are friendly and attentive, and the overall experience is enjoyable. Guests who reserve an igloo in advance can enhance their visit with a comfortable and private setting. The mountain coaster and zip line are also popular attractions, offering thrilling experiences for visitors. Overall, Ruidoso Winter Park provides a fun and engaging winter destination for families, with a range of activities and amenities to cater to different preferences and age groups.
Great place to learn and practice your ski skills. I recommend to buy the day pass. You can also bring your own food or buy it in the cafeteria. For all ages 🖤

A friend recommended the Screaming Eagle Mountain Coaster at Ruidoso Winter Park, and I’m so glad we went—it was an absolute blast! Such a fun way to experience the mountain scenery with just the right amount of adventure. Definitely add this to your Ruidoso list!
