Good service from all except one cashier who was being very impatient and rude when i went to put gas and buy drinks last week. Went again before this past weekend and had a bad interaction with the blonde female cashier.. Yelling at customers, and being so impatient and rude once again!! Nothing else bad about the place except for this employee.

Gas is questionable. Pay attention when getting gas. May be ripping their customers off!

if i could give this place negative stars, i would. do NOT shop here unless you wanna get yelled at and embarrassed by the owner! DO NOT GO HERE, unless you wanna deal with the rude owner. the employees are nice but they have the RUDEST owner, & everything is super expensive & the gas is bad. One of the clerks charged my ebt card twice for 60$, had to go back in there so they could refund it, just so the owner could be really rude to me & say that it’s my fault, they tried to deny that it happened, had to call my ebt card in front of them to prove their mistake. They have done this to me more than once, people are afraid to say anything to owner because she’ll ban them. she takes advantage of the fact that we are out in the middle of nowhere, the people that she has banned can no longer go there and have to drive hella far just for the simplest things because of her. the worst experience EVER.

A good place to stop for gas and a clean restroom break. Jeanne was so nice she made our stop lovely and memorable.

This is a great place to stop! Not fancy but very clean and nice and it's great to support a local place.

Well stocked store with clean restrooms in a quiet area. All makes for a comfortable stop-over.

They may have had only porta potties but that is when there were very high restrictions for COVID-19 in New Mexico. I know the owners are not only looking out for themselves and their employees BUT ALSO for the local community and travelers just as equally. Now that restrictions have been lifted there is RUNNING WATER as well as a CLEAN RESTROOM. They also have a convenient ATM inside for cash in an emergency! As a San Juan Native, this store is the best thing for our community and travelers for the next 15-20 minutes north or south of I-25. Hopefully soon Diesel fuel will be an option.

Great stop! Restroom was clean, snacks, and drinks available. The woman who helped was very friendly. They even had a couple of picnic tables available for use. Nothing else around, but so happy they are here. I would highly recommend stopping.

Nothing but portapotties. No running water. Dusty gravel drive. Lady at window of building flags you if you start to go in and refuses you. Regret having bought gas there.

I was so excited when I found this secret hidden space of San Jose, New Mexico, and naturally holding true to the name Pecos River Station. Located just between the mountainous range off of Frontage Road 2116, I immediately thought of the phrase, 'Moments Worth Living For'', especially when I heard the soft vibrations of Native American Flutes playing through the waves of the crisp, clean breeze and the freeway.Pecos River Station had everything I needed for my business trip on my way back home to Houston, Texas from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and this Gas Station/Community Store reminded me of how important it is to keep the life of historic rural businesses alive, as they build community and aid in the development phases of expanding Green Forward Enterprises. A Tesla Supercharger would be perfect here where the metro buses and community gather frequently. Pecos River Station generates a special spirit and serves as a saving grace to the already gorgeous magical splendor of the quaint, original town.I pinned this family owned business as one of my favorite places to visit during my road trips, making them true upgrades compared to the basic brand heavy convenient stores located inconveniently further outside of the scenic San Jose mountain range. From local commuters the surprise travellers on road trips, Pecos River Station has a little bit of heaven for every visitor. I filled up on some fuel during my trip to Colorado Springs just before I ran out of gas due to the other Gas Stations being more expensive and so far spaced out from each other. The layout of Pecos River Station is uniquely designed to make parking and fueling your gas tank while obtaining natural resources for your drive easy with a bonus of having the option to stay longer to hang out and have a bite to eat with travel companions at any of the many wood picnic tables while capturing key photos fun and entertaining. Pecos River Station onvenient store that is stocked with everything you need from water, soft soda drinks, rich coffee, energy drinks, alcohol, snacks, and fresh food including hand made souvenirs created by the hands of real native american and country mid-western locals, making Pecos River Station a rare find you don't want to miss while driving through the mountainous scenery on ou cannot locate the you cannot find and more to offer as a Key Spot for people road trips than the Love's Gas nd the other down the road. When I spoke with one of the owners of Pecos River Station she was thrilled to provide customer service and told me that this little hot spot began their business over 40 years ago, and the family that owns the properties in the area expanded Pecos River Station so that it could serve the locals and tourists as a Local Community Social Common Area Amenity, with picnic tables that are surrounded by trees and shrubbery and covered eating areas as well as the coolest sacred geometry piece of art that I was tempted to buy. Their outdoor hours and convenient store hours are posted and there is a Metro Bus Station just outside of the social space, making it one of the first places travellers see in Pecos, New Mexico.Thank you, Pecos River Station Family for providing an overall unique, Tombstone/Native American/Rural Lifestyle experience. It was like time traveling, and so many people who take road trips love the authentic touch of a home grown, deep rooted, family operated business.

No diesel here, if that's what you need. Not indicated at their website or anywhere I could find on Yelp. Went there hoping - only to find "no diesel" signs everywhere you look.

Clerks are nice but the management is rude. Prices are high. Only stop here for gas.
