The service was just ok. The food was not as good as the meals we had prior to coming here while in Santa Fe. Best word to describe would be mediocre.

Looking for a quiet, spacious and beautiful place for breakfast or lunch? You can't lose at Amaya. Haven't had dinner there, but the huevos rancheros are the best in town! One time I brought a friend who had avocado toast with an egg. I wasn't very hungry, but they graciously brought me a single delicious blue corn pancake with real maple syrup. Breakfast quesadillas are huge and very good. I usually bring leftovers home. The chicken enchiladas are great and also big portions. If you want to have an actual conversation over a meal bring your guests to Amaya. The Hotel Santa Fe, where the restaurant is located, is owned and run by Native Americans from Picuris Pueblo. The artwork, weaving and background music are a special treat for your out-of-town guests. Fireplaces provide a warm place to hang out in winter. In summer the glass doors to the garden are opened so it's almost like dining outdoors. You can even reserve the tipi for a private dinner for 10. This seems weird to me since Pueblo people don't event use tipis, but I guess it's kinda fun for tourists. Highly recommended.

PThe food here is exceptionally good. My salmon was cooked to perfection. The service was stellar. Lady was a sweet heart. The ambiance is fabulous with native art all through out the Hotel. I loved the wooden flute music at dinner. I could feel the stress roll off my shoulders. We stopped by the bar in the afternoon for beer and a nosh. Misty was great. I tried some butter squash soup . . . Delicious.

A hidden gem. Prompt, friendly staff and a wood fireplace. We each had a breakfast, lunch, and dinner here while staying 3 nights at hotel. All meals were very good, and much more than expected at a hotel. If you are expecting hotel food, it is not that! Appetizers, steak, scallops, pork tenderloin, and southwestern items and more on the dinner menu. We had wonderful Angus burgers for lunch (they have bison too!) and eggs Benedict for breakfast.

This restaurant inside Hotel Santa Fe is the best kept secret that needs to be shared! Excellent menu choices, and delicious delivery! Anyone can dinner here. Not only guests. Don't wait!

My hubby had the pork tenderloin. Cooked perfectly and the polenta was a creamy and cheesy delight. He's not a fan of kale, but I am and it was sautéed to perfection. I had the soup of the day. It was a generous bowl and I enjoyed every sip. Then, for the grand finale, we shared the pear cobbler. Oh yes! So good. We will visit again.

Well, despite having a reservation, and you get a table in the darkest corner where they need to bring you a light...not a good start. I had to ask about our food ( hamburger, enchilada, and lamb chops). And instead of telling me she would check on it, waitress said "it's coming". Obviously didn't check on it because the lamb was cold. This could have been a problem in the kitchen not timing everything right. Service was so so, no one came to offer to refill water glasses. Maybe because our table was in a dark corner. Lamb chops were served cold. French fries were too salty. Margarita and mojito were watery. Finally got lamb and it was very good. So was the tortilla soup.

One of the best (and least expensive) happy bar menus in Santa Fe. Best kept secret status. Excellent & friendly staff, great variety & quality (both happy hour & regular menus), great atmosphere. Definitely a favorite.

I had the lobster corn chowder, which was excellent and very hearty. This was the Christmas day prefix and for the entrée I had the lobster tail with Three gigantic, tasty scallops. The crème brûlée was perfection.

Great breakfast options. I had traditional 3 egg omelet and it was perfect. Wife had avocado toast with egg and fruit. Very good.
