When I went in I told them my ac wasn’t working. All they did was add some coolant. When I went and picked it up I asked if it had a leak and she replied with “ we didn’t see anything that would make us think there was one”
They charged me $183 for practically nothing.
I don’t feel like they took the time because they were too busy. I went to another mechanic and I do have a leak. I don’t recommend this place.

We were charged $900 for an alternator that did not need to be repaired and did not resolve the issue. They only changed it with hopes that the issue would be resolved.
We took our car for a second opinion elsewhere and could see the history of the diagnostics - nowhere did it say the alternator needing replacing. Turns out it was a fuse (even though Auto Care claimed to have checked the fuses).
The issue repaired and resolved by a truly trustworthy mechanic for a fraction of the cost. Overall Auto Care 2000 is dishonest and owner was very rude after being confronted.

I had a terrible experience at Auto Care 2000. After my car died (despite a new battery), they told me the alternator was the issue and went ahead and replaced it. As soon as I drove away, the same problem was still there — the charging system wasn’t working. A second mechanic later confirmed the alternator was never the problem; they simply threw a part at it instead of properly diagnosing by reading the codes.
When I called back, the owner (Marrianne) was extremely rude and unprofessional. She laughed at me, insisted they “fixed the problem” because the car drove off their lot, and told me it wasn’t her problem. Since then, I’ve tried calling multiple times during business hours and never get an answer or a callback.
They charged me full price for a repair that wasn’t needed, refused accountability, and treated me with complete disrespect. Avoid this place at all costs — dishonest, careless, and untrustworthy.

AutoCare 2000 will be the only place I will take my car for repairs and service. Excellent service. Very fair pricing. And the owner, Marianne, is wonderful to do business with. Very highly recommend!

We are from out of town and came here in an emergency since they could see us the same day. Thank god we did! Apparently, our tire was not correctly secured at a different mechanic and we were close to something scary had we continued with our cross country roadtrip. I’m so thankful for the team here for taking us seriously, prioritizing our request, and walking us through the issue calmly. They didn’t charge us a dime, and simply made sure all tires were firmly attached and we were safe to continue our journey. All out of the decency of their hearts! We are super thankful for MaryAnn and her help- 10/10 would recommend!

We have been staying at state park when we experienced transmission issues. Another car repair shop recommended Auto 2000. Marianne was professional and extremely helpful getting us seen the following morning. We arrived at 8am and had answers within a couple hours. Unfortunately our transmission was shot. She chose not to charge us. We so appreciate the honesty of this shop.

Absolutely worst mechanic experience I’ve received. Was given an estimate of x amount of dollars and was substantially unchanged when my vehicle was finished. Not to mention over the phone calling to schedule my appointment , I was promised it would be finished later that day. Turned out that wasn’t the case and was surprised when they had to keep my vehicle for 24 hours. For only 2 tasks that wasn’t nothing major. When finally picking up my vehicle I was going to be charged 100+ dollars. If I didn’t question them and make them explain the reasoning they would have overcharged me. Customer service is poor, I was also promised an email for a part to research and look towards ordering and never received it. Highly recommended anywhere else but this place.

I believe that my vehicle needed a break job. I took it there and got a call from the shop. They let me know that I did not need a break job as my brakes were fine. I really appreciated their honesty and would use them again. I appreciated their honesty.

Came to pick up my truck at 7:00am after they called and said it was ready days prior only for them to not have the keys. I woke up my 1 and 3 yr old and my wife had to call in late otherwise we would have to leave truck another week. New Methicans can't do anything right.
