“I begin looking for a bank that had good customer service and when you call with a question you're not having to deal with a automated service that constantly re-routes and then places you on hold.
Wanting to deal with a real live person I made calls to seversl banks hoping to make a decision based on the phone experience. Ashley, at Washington Federal Credit Union set an afternoon appointment that day and in less than 30 minutes after arriving I had opened a new account. Ashley highlighted all of the services that Washington Federal offers. Believe me, Washington Federal is a cut above the other banking institutions I'm going back next week to open a business account. Great banking that I haven't experienced in decades. “One name. (Jonathan). Every time i go to Sandia in Santa Fe i ask for him immediately.
Besides Jonathan being my favorite person to work with Sandia has helped me with 2 vehicle loans and a credit card. “Del norte offers a better rate of return on certificates of deposit than any other credit union in New Mexico! And the only credit union offering a 3 month CD over 1%! I would only ask that they provide an option for notes on an on-line transactions like a person would have on a written check.”
“This review is for the brunch located at 1790 St Michaels Dr., Santa Fe, NM 87505. I am a Treasurer and a manager of the HOA business account there. I have been dealing with this bank employees for over a year, and can only say positive things about my interactions with them. I particularly would like to acknowledge the brunch manager Joel Baca, who recently gave me an excellent advise on transitioning our reserve account into a different account type with a much higher interest rate. Also, I would like to mention Janelle, who is always helpful and who always patiently guides me through their banking process. Today, I had experience with yet another wonderful employee, Sarah Hurtado. I came on a Saturday at 11:15 AM to get a real estate deed signed and notarized. Having almost completed the process, she noticed a discrepancy. Turned out that I brought an incomplete version of the document. Although it was only minutes before the bank closing, Sarah patiently waited until I was able to find and email to her the correct version, she printed it out, and I was able to complete it and get my signature notarized.”

“Kimberly at this branch was absolutely terrific. She helped me when the albuquerque branch was going through some building trouble. She went above and beyond and I honestly haven't received customer service like that in a very long time. I'm absolutely calling this branch back to speak with a manager to make sure Kimberly gets some points (or a raise like companies should do since customer service like hers is so rare). In a world where money unfortunately is the key to existing, she put my worries away and made sure I didn't overdraft. I can't say good enough things and I can't express how grateful I am that she was able to give me peace of mind.

“I had a wonderful experience at this BOA branch in Santa Fe yesterday, assisted by bilingual personal banker Sylvia. She was in every way warmly professional in helping me add a family member to my account, giving us excellent guidance on what kinds of secondary identification my family member needed, and patiently taking up where we left off when returning with documents. The account isn't overly large at the moment, but she made us feel important as people and as customers even so. Another thing I noticed at this branch--while we were there a number of customers came through the door. Each was greeted as if the workers behind the counter knew them. This genuinely welcoming atmosphere was such a refreshing thing to see. Kudos to all of you who work at this BOA branch!”
“Needed a Notary and our local First National Bank in Eldorado was kind enough to provide me this service WITHOUT having an account with their bank. Julia, the Notary at the bank, was incredibly nice, professional, helpful, and fast. This is one of the few local banks in the area that has staff, a drive-thru, and offers the same services as the larger banks. Their customer service is excellent.”

“This is the best bank, period. It may very well be the best business in Santa Fe. I have lived all over the country and the best thing that I can say about any of my banks is that some were good enough that I didn't dislike them. So I surprised even myself when I found myself feeling so strongly about NMBT. Any small business owner knows that it is hard to be taken seriously at banks. Not so at NMBT. They understand that a business owner's income documentation is different than that of a W-2 employee and they have worked really hard to help us succeed.
