An institution for a reason. We came for lunch on a Thursday and still had a pretty long wait (~45 minutes) for a table, but we passed the time exploring the shops nearby. We started with the wild shrimp cocktail which was fresh + refreshing, and the pomelo salad, which was a surprise winner. I got the Durango omelette with Xmas chile sauce. The omelette was delicious and huge - could have been split between two people. Between the red and green chile, I'm definitely more of a fan of the green, it's milder. The dish even came with tortillas and jam (apparently you put the jam on the tortillas). My friends also really liked the chile relleno we got on the side. The menu here has so many options it feels like we barely scratched the surface, but everyone really enjoyed the meal so it's safe to say the food will probably be good no matter what on their extensive menu you choose to try.

The food is fabulous and drinks also. Our server was lovely. I wish it was a bigger space. It's definitely not ADA friendly.

I tried their "special" which was an oxtail rice dish in a sweet and spicy curry sauce. It was incredible!

Very fresh organic eggs! Loved the seed bread so much I got it twice. Vegetables and ingredients all were impeccably fresh. Very friendly service too. Can’t miss the big fancy lattes. Thank you for carrying milk alternatives!

It's not easy to say that you've possibly eaten the best Mexican food ever when you've lived in Texas and Arizona for over 20 years, but.......this restaurant is amazing! It is an absolute must if you ever visit Santa Fe. If the line out the door in 30° weather doesn't tell you everything, the food, drinks, and service will do the rest.

If you go to the same restaurant twice within 48hours it must mean it's good right?! My first time in Santa Fe and I was recommended to eat here by my neighbor and I'm so glad I came! My friends and I came for dinner the first night and then breakfast the next morning. If I had to choose, I'd say breakfast was my favorite, dinner seemed overpriced and even though it was good I don't think it was THAT good. The next morning I had the burrito with the red and green salsa and it was soooooo good that my mouth is watering as I write this. There's also a date smoothie that was like a heaven in your mouth. I'd definitely go back for breakfast.

We got in because of a last minute cancellation. And we were rewarded with a fabulous dinner. The savory seedy crackers at the table when we sat down set the tone of deliciousnesses as they were supposed to. The mock ‘mule’ cocktail, martini, and local brew moved us along to entrees of plato supremo, arctic char, and tofu Thai noodle bowl. All pronounced excellent. In the plato supremo the mole enchilada starred followed closely by the carne asada and the chili relleno. Desserts excellent too as we sampled pie and poached pear desserts.

The quality and preparation of meals at Cafe Pasqual's is always superior- hence why it's become such a local legend. The decor is just fun, and the staff there make everyone feel welcome. While the breakfast was great, I must rave about the Strawberry Shrub drink. It's like drinking a spicy strawberry.... And if that's perplexing, it should be. But I for one, would like to drink more spicy strawberries! The only warning I would give is that the menu can be challenging for children. Even my adventurous little eater was a bit overwhelmed by the choices, but eventually settled on the trout (which he was quite happy with).

Best meal we had in Santa Fe. It was expensive, but delicious. Great food, great drinks, great service. Worth it.Lots of vegetarian choices. It's a zoo: you definitely need a reservation. Dinner opened at 5:30 and it was a huge line of people, all with reservations, waiting to get in, Next time we come, we might plan to arrive a little late since it seemed pretty silly to wait in line just cause everyone was hyped. But the meal was great. Fresh organic produce cooked perfectly. Great sauces. All good. We'll be back!

Small, but comfortable. Great food, they know flavor. I try a new restaurant weekly for breakfast and I have to say they are my favorite so far.
