I ordered a car from another location. It was delivered quickly, prepped and cleaned well, and the process went very smoothly. Even though I know I am keeping the car, I still continue to browse for similar make/models for sale online and I have not found anywhere with better prices.

I had the most amazing sales associate today and couldn’t be happier with the wonderful service I received from Sasha! She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and made the whole trading in and purchasing a vehicle such a pleasant experience. Hands down the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made.

For me, CarMax was perfect. Last summer I (84F) knew I had to replace my 2003 Highlander. My daughter's advice: get an EV. Why not, I thought, and did my research-- considering safety features, my very low-mileage needs, and my budget. Then I checked the CarMax listings, and found a pristine and loaded 2018 Nissan Leaf in CA. Carmax made the rest SO easy! It took about 5 min. to order it online, less than 2 weeks to have it delivered to Santa Fe--and then I started shaking in my shoes.My son was happy to drive us in for the pickup appointment, but getting home? I hadn't driven anything but my Highlander for 20 years. I was afraid, very afraid. ---At our CarMax appointment, JC came to meet us, and from then on it felt like a party. He put us at ease and couldn't have been more helpful. We all laughed a lot. I relaxed. I even did a timid test drive around the parking lot. We did the paperwork, and I safely drove the Leaf home, more confident with every mile. Four months later, I love driving, home charging, and owning my new car!Thank you, CarMax, for making this big step so easy all the way, and special thanks, JC.

I recently bought a vehicle from Santa Fe CarMax, after purchasing it, I realized it needed some work done on it. They got it done quickly and at not cost to me. My concern is that why was it not taken care of before it was sold. They say there is a 200 point inspection beforehand you would think everything would have been looked at.

Our representative at the dealership was inexperienced, rude, and would not accept her peers help to make the progress smoother. We've purchased cars from Carmax before and it's always been such an amazing and easy experience. It took us over 6 hours to get our car even though we shipped the car to our car max, had our pre-approval from our bank, and took all our insurance information in. We almost walked out without the car.

I received excellent service at Carmax - Santa Fe. Drove off in a great new (used) car and very happy with purchase. Julio was outstanding as he understood every step of the transaction, moved quickly and made the process great!

My biggest complaint is my plates. It's already gonna be 2 mo. And I haven't received them. First I was told I'd have to wait, their running behind. Then told they were sent out a week ago. I still haven't received them. I call AGAIN. and an told its snail mail and I'd have to wait. Yet a coworker purchased a car across the street at land rover and got hers within a month. Maybe carmax should work directly with State of NM MVD and not a chain like MVD express.

Zero stars if I could. First greeting through the door was a surly receptionist. Walked in with an appointment and had to wait for a half-an-hour to meet with someone. Appointment was for a test drive but sales person thought we were buying the car. Okay, easy mistake. Before we went for the test drive I wanted to get more info on the car. After more waiting we finally sat down to discuss. Double blue book value and a bad attitude sent us packing. I have never felt like a business didn't need or want our money more than at CarMax. Will NOT be back. Thankfully found a great car at blue book value at another dealership. I do not recommend CarMax.

Fairly quick and very easy, both to buy and sell a car. Good customer service. When the SUV I purchased was missing its cargo area cover, they ordered one for me at no charge. And the car I wanted was transported from Albuquerque to Santa Fe for me at no charge, and with no commitment to buy. I highly recommend CarMax if you’re looking for a pre-owned car. And selling my old car to them was seamless as well.

I got a decent car and the sale went relatively smoothly, or so I thought. Two weeks later and they still haven't drawn the money for the vehicle from my bank. I gave them all the paperwork for that and it should be a routine transaction. They are so short staffed that there is no communication between staff members, there is no way to reach a human in a Santa Fe without the call going to a call center. And now I don't know if they are processing my payment or even my license plates. I will be sure to update this warning about CarMax Santa Fe.

Um my buying experience kinda sucked.I love my truck and am glad I bought it however, they didn’t treat my like a customer. They somehow changed amounts on the agreed upon down payment. Had to get a manager. They didn’t go over the vehicle with me and there were no car mats. These r some of the things that were wrong.Overall SF car max sucks!!!!!! There was only one person that new what she was doing. Later. Losers!

I had a great experience with CarMax. The quickly evaluated my trade in and I purchased a car. Initially we had a mechanical issue with the car and CarMax handled the entire issue quickly and expertly. What an easy way to buy a car. I would do it again!

I would not recommend CarMax to a buyer. There are many reasons. Deceptive sales. This vehicle was wrecked and repaired in house by CarMax so nothing showed up on the VIN report. The passenger door was replaced and the paint color didn't come close to matching. The front fender also had been repaired.Nobody at CarMax mentioned this. I came very close to returning the vehicle. I paid my mechanic $500 to balance the brand new tires and align the vehicle. My choice. There are more reasons I would never recommend buying a car from CarMax but I don't care about putting them here. My opinion is that they are rip-off artists.J. F. Hartman.

Found the car I was looking for, had it shipped to me, and it was in great shape when it got here. The staff was fabulous, as always with any CarMax that I have been to.
