“BRING YOUR PASSWORDS. When I fried my MacBook Air Monday (crumbs in the keyboard—eschew Triscuits while working) I called AppleCore because it was open late and it had good reviews. Daniel told me to bring it down at 1:00 Tuesday. I was there, showed him that the only key that worked was Z, told him I had a Saturday editing deadline. He gave me an estimate of what needed to be done, called Wednesday to say my Air was toast but if I wanted, he had a 15” he could replace it with. I said yes. He cloned my new computer. I had my new Air (I really like the big one) back by Friday despite the hour spent trying to remember my passwords. He also synced my phone. Go to Daniel at AppleCore. REMEMBER YOU PASSWORDS.”

The owners are extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Plus, the location is easily accessible from the road, and there are no issues with parking. We are very pleased with the work, how quickly the job was done, and top quality of parts. We took our laptop in due to a broken USB jack, and it was done in less than 2 hours! You can bet we'll be bringing our other laptops in for service as well and give this local business the business it deserves. “Today I went to Best Buy Santa Fe on Zefarano for a tablet. I was hoping for a refurb--you know, save resources. They didn't have refurbs at that Best Buy, but they do have open-box, which are tablets returned under the Best Buy return policy. So yeah, not actually saving used computers from being stripped for copper wiring in Angola, but sort of. BUT, I'm not writing about the tablet; I'm writing about Jorge who patiently explained the set up and requirements for operation (bummer, always requires wifi), then orchestrated the entire 45 minutes it took to mirror my phone and computer. He also showed me the varieties of travel adapters. Thank you, Jorge, for your patience. Thank you for sending me home with a device already set up and ready to go wherever my next assignment sends me.”
