I was shocked at my experience today, especially to be treated so rudely by the store manager. I am a regular customer and one employee (cashier) is always incredibly kind and helpful. (I am not sure I’ll ever want to interact with anyone but her again. She’s the only reason I gave two stars)
The encounter I had with the manager today was when I asked to see a product behind a locked cabinet. It was a $35 hairspray and I wasn’t sure it was the same I bought years ago elsewhere. I did a couple tiny sprays to try to smell it and the manager (who was nearby but not even the one helping me) said, “stop spraying my whole store!” I was in shock but said I was trying to smell it and she added “well surely you know by now.” But I didn’t. I was doing such quick, short sprays that I wasn’t able to tell. It wasn’t like I was spraying my hair or trying to get something for free.
This was followed by a moment maybe one minute prior when I was trying to get down the aisle she was restocking and I couldn’t get by her cart. I was trying to lift it to move it sideways when she was standing right there, easily able to see I couldn’t get by (and I verbally said “sorry, just trying to get through.”
I honestly don’t have time to write this kind of review but I was truly appalled and am still upset about it, hours later.
I have to add that while the phamacy staff is normally pretty nice (again, I’m there at least twice a month), but today when I was chatting with the pharmacist about a question, she broke the conversation to tell a colleague to close the gates. I said, “ou, I need to go ahead and grab my husband’s prescription” and she said I’d have to come back in 30 minutes. ??!!! I said, “but I’m standing right here at your counter now” and she argued that she had to close at exactly 1:30 because she had to give her staff a 30 min break.” Did this have to be at the literal exact time of 1:30 vs 1:31? It was the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had in this store and all at once.
Naturally when I came back in at 2:00, there was a line of five people and I ended up being late for my next appointment.

Be careful of the blue haired old lady cashier if you are POC. I was never asked for my ID at cvs pickup, normally they ask for name and order number.
This lady asked for my ID and “jokingly” said that “I have to make sure that you’re the person who ordered”. That made me very uncomfortable because it seemed that she was suggesting that I could be a thief. But based on what? Even if ID is required as store policy, as she stated, which I couldn’t find anywhere on cvs website, selective enforcement is still discriminatory.
I asked her why not asking for order number for confirmation but instead, my ID. She got aggressive and yelled at me. I wanted to communicate for clarification but she wouldn’t let me talk. She even physically approached me while ranting, to the point that I was concerned about my safety so I left the store.
I feel very sorry that she has to work when she’s already so old and she is the only person who’s working in the store while it’s busy, but I don’t think that it’s okay for her to unleash her frustration on me. If you are POC, please be aware of this lady who might use you as her punching bag.

I've lived in a few different states, and this CVS is the worst one I've encountered. First of all it's dirty and junky. But the worst is that they consistently do not have your scripts ready on time, as they continually push out the dates and times that you can expect to pick up your scripts. They just tried to push one of mine out by 10 days! That would put me in the position of running out of that maintenance medication. When this happens (which is pretty often, unless you get lucky), you generally have to go to this pharmacy in person and tell them you'll wait right there, in order to get your stuff taken care of in a timely fashion. For clarity, I'm not expecting my scripts to be ready in 30 minutes, but DAYS later?! Unacceptable, and their excuses are always the same for the past 5 years - "we're a little behind." Get it together, please!

On Dec 6, I attempted to return an HSA-eligible item (wrist support) at CVS. Store manager Dena denied the refund of unopened item in perfect condition without citing any policy or providing an explanation, despite my polite request. She prohibited other associates from assisting me and refused to offer resources like policies or customer service contacts. Her demeanor became increasingly hostile during the interaction, and she left while I was trying to continue the dialogue. Before leaving Dena said that return will not be processed "because she said so".
I have previously returned HSA-eligible items at CVS without issue, and no valid reason was provided for this denial. It was a terrible and frustrating experience and extremely rude behavior from the management side. I hope that CVS will finally listen to its customers and take an action.

I should have read the reviews!
This place is so unorganized. I just moved here from out-of-state and decided to transfer my prescription to CVS because it's typically a reputable pharmacy and I haven't had any problems with their pharmacy in the past. So I decided to do a non-CVS to CVS prescription transfer on Aug 28th.
Every day there was some road block preventing my prescription from being ready when I called the store. On Aug 29th when I called, the pharmacist on duty said she never read my transfer request and was looking at old medication on file from 4+ years ago that didn't have refills on them. On Aug 30th the pharmacist on duty said he couldn't read the notes of the pharmacist of Aug 29th. On Aug 31st & Sept 1st, no one would return my calls.
On Sept 2nd I received a voicemail saying my prescription would be ready later that day or the next day. After not seeing any updates on my online portal on Sept 3rd, I went to the store on Sept 4th and they had no record of even contacting the out-of-state pharmacy yet so I had to stand there for 45 minutes and supervise the pharmacist on duty call the pharmacy and process my transfer then be told my prescription would take another hour. I decided to leave. The prescription wasn't ready until the next day.
8 DAYSSSS!!! It took 8 days for me to get a prescription transferred here.
I will not be doing business here again and cannot recommend this pharmacy to anyone else. Take your money and time elsewhere.

The woman who helped me at checkout was very pleasant as usual and made sure, as she always does, that all my coupons were used.

Everything is under lock and key, I felt like a criminal just visiting the store. If you are that worried about things being stolen hire more help or just close the store. Couldn't get anyone to unlock anything so I left.

Never open displayed hours. Always closing early. It’s 9:54pm and they have the doors locked.
