I am a collector of vintage cowboy boots and have gotten the most amazing deals at the Double Take. I wish everyone would stop whining about the prices on the Native American jewelry. The real, authentic Native jewelry IS expensive--everywhere, not just at this store. People should be glad they have somewhere to buy the real deal and not get riped off with fake turquoise that is so prevalent in the marketplace these days. Let's all be happy the Double Take exists!!!

So I love this place in many ways but like all consignment stores in Santa Fe the prices are really high - often within striking distance of brand new. That said, for the unusual or vintage or something you really love it's worth it if the item is in great shape. I stopped consigning there years ago when I consigned on the normal side and got like 11 dollars but saw items of mine in the fancy designer section marked for as much as I had paid for them new. All this said I have bought great stuff there but just be really sure the item is special enough to pay their prices. It's tough out here for locals ( says Captaina Obviosa)

Double take is a mixed bag for me, It’s an Amazon large consignment shop, an absolute MUST when visiting Santa Fe…. Loads of cowboy boots, Native American Jewelry, lots of clothes and shoes for men and women, even a baby and children’s building. Upstairs are home goods. Plan at least an hour if you enjoy shopping used and unusual. The mixed part is about being a consignee: it doesn’t seem they send you a check for anything that’s sold unless you are on top of it and ask them to do so. They take 60%, so don’t expect much, although certainly more than giving to Goodwill. Also be aware that they are seasonal with clothes, and can only view 12 pieces at a time. They have pretty strict hours Weds/Thursday when you can bring things, or make an appointment. That said, they are well organized, and high integrity, so you can trust them. And I do appreciate getting at least something for my nicer things.

The people that work here are just so kind and help. I found 3 incredibly beautiful items... two of which were designer. The selection is outstanding. I will be back soon!

Great vibe and very fair prices. They have it all from kids to adults. Lots of great winter wear and lots of amazing winter shoes/boots. Vintage turquios as well.

Unfortunately, my recent visit to Double Take was marred by disappointing customer service. The staff at the counter displayed a lack of acknowledgment and a poor attitude, making it challenging to seek assistance. It’s disheartening when the overall experience in a thrift store falls short due to horrible customer service issues.

A MUST visit at least once per trip to Santa Fe. Deftly and knowledgeably curated with bargains for collectors, Western enthusiasts, vintage mavens and regular thrift shoppers. Did I mention the 75% off room upstairs? Don't miss it!
