El Dorado Supermarket is a fantastic, well-stocked local store with an excellent variety. It is a convenient and independent market with a wonderful hometown feel. The store has everything needed, including a great selection of fresh produce, meats, fish, and a deli that is considered the best for the store's size, with phenomenal cakes and very good fried chicken. It also features frozen food aisles, a good bulk section, organic produce, coffees, and a full wine, beer, and spirits department. The market is full of local products and treats as well as national favorites. The staff is very friendly, helpful, kind, and amazing, with polite and efficient customer service. The store is very clean. While some note prices are high and the selection can be limited, especially for produce on certain days, it is an absolute lifesaver for the community. It often has items in stock when larger Santa Fe stores are out, providing great convenience and beating the need to drive into the busy city.
The manager, Rose, is so friendly and helpful. We love visiting this smaller grocery store because it isn't as busy as nearby stores and they have everything a person needs and more. I highly recommend and will continue to visit regularly.
