I was in this bank today because I couldn't get banking done on Saturday, all branches closed. While waiting I listened to the teller belittle an elderly woman who was trying to get more checks ordered. He somehow worked Jesus into the conversation. What terrible customer service. I can't wait to change banks.

The worst of both worlds-- too small to easily connect with other banks online or easily solve problems, too large for personalized service or to get through to anyone who can help. This is my first bank account in Santa Fe and it has been pretty much a nightmare-- took forever to get set up, offered a promotion that proved to be impossible to meet the requirements of due to what appear to be technical issues on their end, but they're unwilling to help after many hours of effort (shouldn't have spent so much time on this-- just consider their promotions B.S. and ignore them if signing up). Also they supposedly sent a debit card that I never received, but they deactivated the temporary one anyway so I had to go back in and get a new one. Really wish I'd gone with Wells Fargo, which was my initial plan. Was lured in by their bogus promotion...sigh. I know they're short staffed and the ladies working there try to be friendly for the most part, but I have a really busy life and don't have time to babysit my bank on top of everything else....also I forgot to add that if you think you're supporting a local business by banking with these guys, you're not. A couple of times when I've called their local, 505 numbers to ask about a local ATM or some other local issue, I've gotten someone who says "oh, I don't know about that. I'm in Kansas." This is a subsidiary of a larger company that doesn't pay its employees very well, so be aware of that.

They are not a local bank anymore. Sunflower only cares about fees and greedy people in Kansas. First national used to be a cherished name in Santa Fe. The executive management is all in Kansas and they don’t care about the Santa Fe community.

my local bank first national santa fe has gone so down hill since the merger with sunflower. service is terrible. 3 branches have closed. many of the previous employees have moved to other banks where they seem to be treated better.

I love my bank and especially my branch on Cordova Road. The manager and her staff are extraordinarily competent and the customer service is great. Personal banking services at central office are also fabulous.

Nothing but problems with this bank and I’m finally fed up! My debit card was put on hold on 9/12. Realized it yesterday and called customer service. They couldn’t tell me why or who put it on hold and told me I’d have to wait till today (Monday) to talk to the local branch. Just called and they told me it was due to returned mail. They asked to verify my address AGAIN even though I went in person and gave them the address and well as got a call last month and verified it the
