Incredibly rude and unhelpful. Called with an issue with a rental car and they actually hung up on me. Can’t get anyone else back on phone. Unreal.

Worst customer service ever!! No cars available. Manager hung up on me when I tried to tell him how unhappy I was. This place was a joke.

I rented a car through Expedia and Hertz had a discounted rate at $38/day. I had my own vehicle in for repair and when I went to rent my Hertz car I told the agent that it might be a week or just a couple of days. He told be that it would be the daily rate and after 4 days it would go to the weekly rate. Since I was 1/2 hour early to pick up my rental, the agent told me that the only vehicle he had was a Frontier truck. When I went to the truck, it was way bigger than the last Frontier I rented. And no running board to help step in. My car was repaired and ready at the second day. When I wanted to return the truck, I was then told that my "daily" rate was not applicable; I'd have to pay for the entire week or their daily rate for two days was more than my weekly rate. I asked the agent to call his supervisor to see if they would do better on the rate, since I only had the truck for less than two days and I was told something entirely different about the rate. I went to get my iphone I left in the truck and when I returned to Hertz, the agent had gone to lunch and the other agent in the office told me a discount wasn't possible. The agents were not helpful at all and when I said I'd keep the rental for the week but needed a smaller car, the agent told me they were not able to do that. That's the last time I'll rent from Hertz. Rip off company who does not work with their customers and whose employees are not trained properly and have poor people skills.

My experience started out poorly, they like to rent cars they don't have then put you on a waiting list IF one happens to come in. The second shift coming in were much more friendly and made the experience a little less miserable.

Worst service EVER! My company made a rental for pick up same day. Hertz confirmed they HAD A VEHICLE ON SITE. Called to confirm and schedule a pick up and was informed they don't currently have a vehicle and I would have to wait. How do you make a reservation for a vehicle you don't have on site.Don't go here save yourself time and a headache. Besides the entire company has been sued for filing stolen car reports.... ON PAYING CUSTOMERS. Hitchhiking would be a better option than working with them.

Friendly staff had me in a car in a short time. Had zero problems with the process, and they actually had a car in stock unlike the rental place across the street.

Helpful, had the car I wanted. Friendly attendant. Hard to find superlatives for corporate store front but they gave me what I wanted and were pleasant.

Literally worst service I have ever had at a rental car company.Unfortunately had to have my car fixed and needed a rental- 1.5 hours from home. Had a confirmed reservation with a confirmation number at this location. When calling to let them know I was on my way to pick up the rental, I was told first that there was no reservation, then told that there was a reservation and they they didn’t have a car for me and I would have to wait til next week. I am not in the city in which I live, so obviously that wasn’t going to work. After explaining my situation to the employee I was told again there was nothing they can do. How do you not reserve a car that you have a reservation for? After asking the employee I was speaking with for a supervisor and what his name was- I was told “I don’t have to give you my name because I’m not comfortable.” At this point they were threatened with a lawyer. I was then asked “why would you even say that?” I was then told that they have a car but they weren’t going to rent to me. How did you not have a car the first 3 times I asked you to honor the reservation? Why didn’t you just connect me to a supervisor instead of escalating the situation? You’re employee got mad because Hertz made a mistake, didn’t know how to fix it, then got disrespectful when action was threatened against them. I will be reporting to Hertz corporate as well the better business bureau for your unethical business practices.

Arrived here on a Friday after breaking down on a vacation and after trying every rental place in town. They were all out of cars but the girl that helped us didn’t give up she called all the other hertz locations and one just arrived around 3pm on a Friday they got it ready and we were able to go home.

Hertz charged me $195 to vacuum said out of my rental car.On July 19, 2022 I returned a rental car to the 2010 Cerillos Rd., Santa Fe, NM Hertz location. I returned the car with some beach sand in the front and back, the kind you get from shoes. The sand was from Galveston, Texas (where I rented the car), but the Hertz Rep said that it was from White Sands National Park and would be very hard to remove, and that they had billed several other people for this (scam alert). I told her it was from Galveston, where I had rented the car, and clearly was tan beach sand and not white sand. The rep, who was wearing a dress and heels, said, "if I have to vacuum for more than 5 minutes I'm going to charge you." I told her I wouldn't pay it if she charged me and would dispute it, and that if they had a normal cleaning crew (this is a small Hertz location) no one would ever think twice about beach sand in a rental car. She then called her manager on the phone and spoke for about a minute in spanish in front of me, hung up and said there was nothing she could do. Terrible customer service! Has anyone ever vacuumed beach sand from a rental car before returning it? I'm disputing the charge and filed with the BBB, but that effort ensures I'll never use Hertz again.

Had a good experience picking up the rental we reserved through Hotwire. Total time there was about 10 mins. One person helped us with the paperwork while the other person went out and got the car ready. Super smooth process and grateful we could get started on our trip with no delay.

I’ve went to Hertz twice. First when my converter was cut off, second when I wrecked my truck. The first time their explorer broke down in the middle of the highway and I had to return it and miss three hours of work. The second time I went to hertz there Jeep Compass was making a horrible shaking sound on the left front tire and I had to take it back. Then the Nissan they gave me came with low tire pressure and kept going down. Now they’re saying that I am responsible for the tire and are going to charge me and won’t give me another rental. Every time I’ve got a rental from Hertz I’ve had to return it and miss work. I highly recommend not getting a rental from this place.!
