Location is fantastic and most things are walkable. Valet guys were great, knowledgeable and fast. You're forced into valet if you drive. The Hotel is beautiful and lots of photo op areas in the front. The room was VERY dusty, like I was able to see the dust stuck to the tv that has been there so long it would be hard to remove. The bed was very comfortable but the down pillows held onto a lot of allergens and made for a rough week. The patio was cool but the doors didn't lock or shut properly so when the wind blew it would leak into the room. The toilet handle nearly feel off and my partner had to screw it back together so we could flush. Did I feel the room was worth what I paid for it, no. Did we mostly enjoy our stay, yes.

Very nice old hotel in the heart of Santa Fe next door to the Loretto Chapel. The rooms are spacious, but baths are a bit dated. The beds are extremely comfortable, however. The little kiva fireplace is quaint, and service was exquisite. The meeting facilities were top-notch and a great place for a retreat. The hotel rooms have balconies with chairs and a table.Walkability: Two blocks to Santa Fe plaza. Plenty of shops, restaurants, museums, and activities of plaza.Food & drinks: The food is both flavorful, and they have options for all dietary needs.

Loved our room (basic but comfy). The service was good and above par. We had a lot of interaction with the valet guys because we brought our bikes along. They were helpful and informative. Splurged on a $300 massage. While the massage was good...no spa facilities were offered (sauna, pool, shower?) We really enjoyed the happy hours offered by the hotel and the ability to meet other travelers. We stayed four nights and recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

The front desk and valet attendants were great. Super helpful! Rooms were fine other than the couple of spider friends we found, which freaked our daughter out. A good stay, and repeat spot for us.

Overall this is just fine, you’re obviously paying for the location. The rooms are small and very dated. The double rooms have twin beds not queens. When we went to check out we had a bunch of “EXTRA MISC” fees what a joke! Our room went from $450 to $700. I’m pretty upset, when we asked they couldn’t even explain it themselves. Oh, we just add fees lol.

My husband and I stayed there from 2/9 through 2/11 with 3 other couples. Everything was absolutely awesome. The main lobby is a great location for both cocktails and sitting by the fire with lots of comfy seating. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The service from the staff was first rate. We ate breakfast at the Luminaria twice, and the food and service were excellent. The General Manager was very visible in the common areas and checked on our group several times throughout the weekend to make sure we were being well taken care of. The personnel running the valet were very fast and friendly. We loved everything! We are booking another trip to Loretto in September.

rooms need to be updated. the valet situation is atrocious. you can't text ahead, so you just have to hope someone is down there to get your car and then wait with everyone else. There's no way to park yourself. The spa is ok, but the HVAC turning on every 5 mins is SO loud.

I visited for a work conference. The hotel is clearly billing itself as an upscale experience, but the service doesn’t reflect that. The valet didn't know what event was being held that day and was dismissive. The front desk staff member seemed bored. The catered breakfast was decent. The location is great and the hotel is a nice building with services and shops scattered throughout.I'd likely find another hotel when visiting for pleasure because of the staff, especially the valet.Walkability: Close to the Plaza in a very walkable location.

Front desk staff person had an attitude when my card was declined. I called my credit card and it was because they had entered the expiration date incorrectly. Wifi sucks, good luck streaming. A whole 54 channels to choose from on tv and at least 2 are dedicated to the hotel and how they launder their sheets. They authorize a minimum of $250+ on top of the room charge, so if here for a conference in which the organization covers the rooms then expect to max out your credit card. And let's talk about the kids running up and down the halls in the middle of the night screaming. Or the woman on her phone walking up and down the halls speaking loudly into her phone. No care that its midnight on a Tuesday. Not happy, not pleased, never staying here again. I'll go back to the La Fonda and throw money at them.

This hotel was one of the best we’ve stayed at AND ITS HAUNTED!When we first arrived we were greeted by the valet who were awesome and at the front desk was Naomi who my partner and I both thought was one of the best hotel staff people we’ve ever met. Naomi was professional, naturally friendly and knowledgeable. She was quick and just had an over all good vibe. The first few minutes in our room we kept hearing knocks at the door. But when we checked no one was there. I immediately realized that this old hotel must be haunted. So I went ahead and spoke out loud to the spirit and let them know that we come in peace and wouldn’t be staying long and that they are welcome in the room with us. The knocks stopped. No more haunting.Santa Fe is gorgeous. I hope everyone gets the chance to visit and stay at the Inn and Spa at Loretto
