Visited yesterday to buy some material and they will only sell material at 3 and 5 yards! Completely ridiculous! I wanted to buy 3 sections of different material but did not want or NEED 3 yards of any of it. Will shop elsewhere. I felt bullied and pressured into buying a larger quantity so Joann's can make some profits before closing their stores. No thanks!

I just read all Joann Stores are closing nationally, the chain is bankrupt. I shopped at the Santa Fe Store sporadically using fabrics sometimes for art projects. I often had questions for the staff who were patient, knowledgeable and nice. People who worked there seemed to have a bit of a passion for sewing and creating. Just wanted to thank the staff for their efforts and they were appreciated and wish them well in their next endeavors.

The staff is always nice but the store is unorganized and dingy. It definitely needs a facelift. It's so bad that I avoid going there at all costs, including paying shipping costs.

There were people waiting outside for 10 minutes when an employee (only one??) finally posted this sign at 10:10 am, 10 am open time.
That could’ve been done sooner and they could’ve had more employees working at that time frame. Turned away at least 4 customers.

I went to Joanns in Santa fe yesterday to buy a Christmas gift and I asked the worker where they have the candle warmers and he laughed like it was a freaking joke and said I don't know you'll just have to go look so then finally found it stood in line to find out that he was sick sneazing all over and holding a napkin that he's been blowing his nose with and handling customers items with that snotty napkin in his hand I ended up walking out

They're NOT open until 7:00pm.
They must be "Low Rent". I came at 6:10pm and they were locked up with nobody there. Poor management is evident. Any half decent manager would correct their advertised hours.

They did have what I needed at roughly the price I expected. That's about all that I can say in the positive.
When the very slow to arrive checkout person arrived and silently processed my transaction - I did at least get an "of course..." response in response to my "thank you". I guess my business was tolerated at least.
If I could find a different local source for what I was looking for, I would.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a foam cushion back in October 2023. After 3 weeks with no shipping notification, I reached out to customer service. They informed me that the product was not in stock and they did not have an estimated time when it would be. I requested that my order be canceled and was informed they would not cancel it despite no known delivery date. I had to order the product from somewhere else in the meantime. The cushion finally arrived over 6 weeks after I ordered it. Now I need to drive an hour one direction to return to stupid cushion that I wanted canceled in the first place.

Lots of fabric choices and helpful staff when they're available. Every business is short staffed, so be patient, and they will work with you.
