“A surprisingly extensive selection is available in this small unassuming store! The owner was friendly, affable and available, but not pushy in any way. If you're looking for something beyond the grocery store line up, check out Cliff's. You won't be disappointed.”

“Couldn’t find some products, a gentleman by the name of Cordell not only provided great costumer service but spent his time helping me find what I needed. A really great employee I must say. Not many like that anymore.”

“We’ve hit this store several times when visiting Santa Fe. Always a pleasure to shop here. The store is very nice, they have an excellent selection of good wines and spirits, a helpful staff and are convenient to downtown.”

“I'm not a fan of tequila, but their cocktails are fantastic. And the prices are pleasantly reasonable for a touristy area. You'd easy pay twice as much in S. Francisco, LA, NY, South Florida or any ski resort town in Colorado.Parking: Parking lot for hotel guests only (we were). Still a bit tight, but Santa Fe is an old town. Wasn't built for cars.”

“James (owner) was recommended by another wine retailer. He is well-informed, accommodating, very nice (plus staff). I found speaking with himenjoyable......good prices, too. A place that is most relatable. We will definitely go back!MCH - former Host for Clint EastwoodPBH - former Head Pro/GM for Pebble Beach”

“New Mexico Hard Cider has the largest selection of ciders on tap we had ever seen. Particularly good were rhubarb, apricot, tart cherry, sangria and blueberry. We order several flights to get a large sample of everything. Service is excellent. Seating is at the bar, on sofa , at tables or outside. Prices are very reasonable and the ciders are brewed locally.”

“The service here was amazing. As we are out of towners, we wanted to try NM locally made beverages. Instead of pointing us in a direction the gentleman came from behind the counter and gave us a tour of the whole store. I don’t believe he was trying to up sell us or anything of the sort. He was proud of his state and we were happy to buy locally made items. Wow! I love this place! I even walked out with one of my favorite CAO cigars. I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name but please keep that great service going! We would have shopped longer if we could! Thank you so much for top notch service!”

“Coming to Santa Fe to my parents' timeshare has become our family holiday, and Kaune's is a stone's throw from it, and has become where we always get our groceries for the few days we're here. It's expensive, and the inside is a bit cramped-- but that's par for the course here, tbh. The food is good, has a lot of high-quality items I only ever get to try here. They had jars of whole black truffles, this last visit. Always spend a lot on a selection of fancy cheeses, too. And friendly/helpful cashiers!”

“Every time I go there it's like visiting my family, always greeted with a welcoming smile and a big hello. This is what service used to be like everywhere back in the day when service was important. It's still important to Rodeo plaza liquors and I will always go back when I shop for my liquor needs. Thanks to the great staff.”

“Yes, it’s run down. Yes, it’s dusty and dim, with corner store charm…. but, the staff make you feel like you’ve known them forever, and the selection is the best in midtown.Don’t expect much for food or snacks, but that’s not what you came for, right? They have the best selection of Sake in town, too.Go on, have a drink! You’ll find something you’ve never tried before, I promise.”

“Amazing selection of liquor but why do you close so early? That's literally the only reason I have to take off a star because any time I think to go to Kelly's its already closed!”
