Luminaria is an absolute gem deserving of five stars and beyond. Our recent experience at this restaurant left us so impressed.I called to reserve a table for a very special occasion: our friend's proposal celebration brunch. From the moment I spoke with Maisie, I knew we were in good hands. Maisie's warmth and attentiveness made the booking process seamless, and she assured me that everything would be taken care of.Little did we know, Maisie had a surprise in store for us. Upon our arrival, we were ushered into a private room adorned with elegant decor, setting the perfect atmosphere for our celebration and making the abode and Groom truly feel like VIP's. Maisie greeted us with celebratory tequila shots, adding an extra touch of excitement to the occasion. The breakfast spread was delicious and each dish was bursting with flavor. What truly stood out though, was the impeccable service. The staff tended to our every need with grace and professionalism, ensuring that we felt like VIPs throughout our entire experience.I cannot express enough gratitude to Maisie and the entire staff at Luminaria for making our celebration so unforgettable. We left feeling truly pampered and grateful for the exceptional hospitality. Without a doubt, we will be returning to Luminaria in the future.Thank you for exceeding our expectations and making the Bride and Grooms special day even more memorable.

I thought that the restaurant was beautifully decorated. It felt warm and inviting. The food that we ordered was perfect. I had the scallops and my daughter had sea bass. The wait staff checked on us frequently but were not overbearing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

All people at our table said their meals were excellent. The new, temporary chef introduced himself. Those of us who dine at Luminaria with some regularity, commended him on a very improved standard of dining. Carlos is an outstanding server!

So good! We're always a little leery of hotel restaurants but this one was so good! The scallops plate was probably the most beautiful dish I've ever been presented with and it tasted as good as it looked. The flourless chocolate torte was also delicious. Very relaxing, good service and good food!

An excellent dinner last night. The brussel sprout appetizer was amazingly good. The venison ribs were outstanding & cooked exactly as I ordered it, to perfection. The have a good wine list with good choices & reasonably priced. The only down side is the valet parking.

Our first visit. We live in Santa Fe. The menu was interesting but expensive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was less than interested in my questions about various dishes because of my need to avoid dairy products. The bar was out of a regularly stocked item because of a recent banquet. That was disappointing. The executive chef came to the dining room to speak briefly to diners and that was an unusual event. We will go back some time because of the quality of the food and the ambiance for indoor evening dining.

Our whole experience at Luminaria was superb! Elegant yet comfortable, attentive service and outstanding food that was al beautifully presented. I ordered the roasted chicken and it was actually the best chicken dish I've had in my entire life. The chef is truly gifted.

After a day of snow boarding at Ski Santa Fe, Luminaria was a perfect place to decompress, nourish our bodies, and enjoy a beautiful view of the Loretto Chapel! The service, ambience, value, and quality of this restaurant was amazing!!

I was meeting a friend who had recently experienced the death of a loved one. I was SO impressed with how the staff quickly realized the situation, and gave us the room to be in the moment. They ensured our food order was taken, delivered, and refills without ever even knowing they were there. All of the meal was excellent, but on this visit it was the Staff that truly made this visit so comfortable. Thank you to all of the staff that waited on us.

Luminaria is a hidden dining gem in Santa Fe. The food was amazing, oysters, Brussel sprouts and tuna sashimi were delicious. Our party of six also loved their entrees. Beautiful ambiance, elegance and delicious food and cocktails made for a wonderful evening with friends.

Food was excellent but service was atrocious. Our entrees were brought to table with no cutlery, and staff ignored our attempts to flag them down. Later in meal my wife asked a question of one wait staff, and was rudely answered. If the gratuity had not been baked into the bill, I would have given no tip.

Cute restaurant, however the gorgeous terrace depicted on main photo is not functioning during cold times. The inside is just ok. Food was fine. Our server, Carlos, was awesome. The hostess (Marie, I believe) was not gracious or accommodating at all. We had reservations. Half the tables were available, yet she wanted to seat us in a hidden corner booth. We asked for a nicer table by the fireplace, but she said it was not available. We asked about 2 other empty tables beat the bar. She said they were also not available. We had to wait until another table finished to be given a table. During our entire meal, all of the three tables we inquired about remained empty. Towards the end of our meal, we asked the hostess why it had been impossible to give us any of the three tables which were still empty and she replied that they were all reserved. She said “Sorry.” Her apology was not genuine. Thankfully, Carlos made it for it. This place is average at best.
